In this video I go over my recent VO2 Max Test results on the treadmill, how the results compare to my test on the Air Bike from two months ago, and how the recent results compare to the current VO2 Max prediction from my Garmin Forerunner 245.

Seated Hamstring Stretch

This is a variation of a seated hamstring stretch. There are many ways to stretch. You can stretch with the help of resistance, with your own bodyweight, with the help of a partner or therapist, and with techniques such as PNF.
Best Core Exercise
Переглядів 62Місяць тому
There is no best core exercise. The core should be trained comprehensively through different exercises. People define the core differently. One definition that I like is from the book: 'Conditioning to the Core' by Greg Brittenham and Daniel Taylor. Many exercises that are not commonly thought of as core exercises have elements of core training and benefit from more specific core training that ...
Ball Hamstring Curls
Переглядів 150Місяць тому
This video demonstrates hamstring curls using an exercise ball. This is also a good lumbo-pelvic core exercise. It is one of a few exercises I prescribe for people that have weak hamstrings. If you feel that this exercise is too strenuous, do not push through to the point of strain. Seek individualized assessment and guidance from a professional.

I recommend seeking individualized prescription for this exercise by a qualified professional if your shoulders can benefit from this exercise for rehabilitation.

This exercise is intended to mobilize the spine in an unloaded position (limited compressive forces on the spine relative to standing upright or sitting). For individuals with low back pain, this exercise can help bring blood flow to the spine and its surrounding structures to promote recovery. This exercise ought to be practiced within your pain free range. Over time, in conjunction with other...
Assisted Side Lunges

This is one of many exercises intended to maintain or improve lateral hip mobility. For people that haven't practiced side lunges in a long time, I have them start by holding something stable in front of them.
Single Leg Heel Taps

This is an exercise to strengthen the hip. Your intent is to have your knee stay in line with your foot rather than cave in (valgus knee). Prevent your knee from caving in by rotating your leg outward using muscles in your hip.

Lat Stretch Thoracic Extension with Dowel
Thanks for this! I've had a hard time sorting out what is going on with my knee. It is the VL and not the knee at all. I pressed into that area with a tennis ball, and it was insane sensitive and triggered the knee pain. I've been working on it but your suggestions I think will help a lot.
You're welcome. If you still have issues with your knee and not seeing improvement after targeting the tight quads and working the opposing glutes for several weeks, seek out a good physical therapist in your area. A comprehensive, in person assessment can help determine what's happening with your knee.
Hi are you looking for a professionals UA-cam thumbnail designer or video seo experts?
Great video
Thank you.
Purpose?
It's an exercise to strengthen the hip. The focus is to keep the knee in line, rather than letting the knee cave in - this is achieved by externally rotating your leg at the hip. Many of the exercises I post here are specific to individual needs. I send these videos (usually multiple exercises to address a weakness) to my clients as reminders of what we reviewed for homework after a treatment session. This video, like many of my other ones, is brief, without much explanation. I might post a more elaborate video explaining the purpose of this exercise and when it is most useful.
What I mean by neutral is: prevent from hyperextending or cranking your neck back to look up in front of you. I don’t usually encourage keeping your head on the floor unless lifting it slightly above the floor causes significant strain. If you can manage it, keep your head off of the floor, but look straight down to the floor in front of you.
When you say head in a neutral position, does it have to be resting on the floor or we do keep it up straight the whole time
so what muscles does this work?
Glutes and hamstrings primarily.
Does the bread have egg smell?

Wow This bread looks delicious! Oats are soooooo good nutritionally
I made this a few days ago, and it's really amazing. How would you go about making a double size bread? Just double up on everything, and cook for maybe 90 minutes?
Perfect, I'm happy you like it. Yes, you'd double the ingredients, but the cook time would depend on how it's spread in the pan. If the baking dish is the same depth but wider/more spread out, you'd probably not need to bake it much longer. You'd have to bake it longer if the depth of the pan is deeper because you'd have more thickness to bake through. It's something you might have to try to know. Or you can bake two breads at the same time in same sized dishes for the same amount of time.
@@beyondlimitslifestyle thanks. I forgot to say that I'll be using the baking dish, so the height would double in size. I'll as you say have to experiment and see what the cooking time will be. Any suggestions as to where to start would be app though.
What's the oven temperature? Glass and metal pans usually take different temperatures.
350 degrees fahrenheit. I usually use glass, but I'd use the same temperature for a metal pan. It just might be baked faster in the metal pan vs. a glass dish.
I don’t eat eggs.What can I add to replace them please ?
You can try flax eggs minimalistbaker.com/how-to-make-a-flax-egg/
Was hoping that ull cut a slice🧐
It would be healthier still if there weren't eggs in it.
Bake at 350 for those wondering
All good except for the annoying background music
Amazing recipe! will definitely try with True Elements Instant Oats as they are healthy and tasty without any preservatives. Thanks for sharing
Thank you! I'm happy you liked it.
I did not see the end of it
Thank you for sharing FYI anytime u cook the honey more than 115 degree it turn into poison, Medical medium (Anthony William) said so Namaste
If you heat honey it loses all its nutrients and turmeric is anti-inflamatory only if mixed with black pepper
You think it’s your favorite recipe! It’s now also my favorite recipe! Yesterday I baked 2 loafs. Can’t believe how easy it is to make and how delicious it taste. Thanks so much for sharing this awesome recipe.

@@Gaby_Cakey yes definitely can make toast with it

You could have shown how it looks inside when its sliced.
Looks like it would crumble
Tempreture?
I was suspicious at first the way it looks when is baked but I tried and is delicious
Happy you liked it.
Oats is not gluten free.
Jim Shark , yes, we have gluten free oats , you can get it online, or at Healthy Planet , if you live in Canada. Blessings
@@msparamin3285 That`s is impossible. Oats itself contain gluten not by contaminated. Can you eat a lot without side effect? like bloating and so on?
@@jinshark9078 Not so. Oats do NOT contain gluten naturally, but only through proximity. I have CD and eat g-f oats all the time. So, go ahead and try them. Enjoy!. :)
Looks bomb
This looks yummy, plus your romantic voice. Love your voice. I've got to try this, honestly.
Why used egg?
Acts as a binder and and yolk has fats. You can omit the egg as there flaxseed in it and add a spoon of oil instead of yolk
very good
Add a pinch of black pepper. It will increase the anti-inflammatory properties of the tumeric 1000 times. 💜🌞🌵😷
Thanks
Next time cut piece pls...
Looks tasty
wish you had shown a slice because mine just crumbled.
Make sure you use GROUND flaxseed. Ground flaxseed is working as a binder in this recipe. (See the link in the comment below about egg subscriptions) And be sure to wait the full 5 minutes as the flaxseed has to be fully hydrated in order to work as a binder. 💜🌞🌵😷. P.s. you can always add the flaxseed to the water beforehand to swell up. The other thing is don't over bake. If you only have whole flax, run it through your spice grinder/ old coffee mill or even a morter and pestle. (Pss. Whole flaxseed is indigestible.)
You must wait until it’s cooled down completely before slicing otherwise it will crumble. Also don’t slice it too thin. All the best next time!!
What could we use instead of eggs in the recipe
I've heard flax eggs can be a substitute. minimalistbaker.com/how-to-make-a-flax-egg/
3 tbsp olive oil, 5 tbsp lemon juice , 3 flax eggs
Why the down thumbs??
Thankyou, made this today and it is tasty
Glad you liked it
Good idea!
Thanks!
