I think the bluetint is what made the game so atmospheric, like literally this game had Aura in its prime back in 2011-2013, I played alot of FPS games since then but none has had the atmosphere BF3 brought with the blue tint.

Blue tint seems more like to hide the imperfections

For me the blue tent goes beyond the certain look. I love the vibe it gives and I don't know why everyone hated it so much. In the future for more gritty/dark battlefield games there should be an option to toggle the blue tent on and off.

I think the color grading helps with making a gritty, “horrors of war” type of atmosphere.

One of the things that was mind boggling to me. The fact they added the blue tint is something I'll never understand. I always thought that the game looks unbelievable unrealistic just because of this shit. The video proves it.

Honestly, the blue tint is so wrapped around the experience it just looks off to me without it.

This game would have looked so much better without this stupid tint.

There were many flaws with the blue tint style when it comes to visibility being a big part of getting kills, but the game still stands out today. I still see people uploading 4k max settings videos of the jet mission. The game looked cinematic and almost apocalyptic in ways. Bf3 was moody and unashamedly bleak at times which for me was huge part of the experience. Running through metro felt like you needed a flashlight at certain sections of the map. You'd hear gunfire echoing down the tunnel, people screaming, and you could hardly see shit lol it just hit different.

Hell no that blue tint is a no go for me

I always hated B2K maps due to visibility. Little did I know it was because of the infamous blue filter. Seeing B2K without blue filter made me want to redownload the game again
