The World Famous TATS Cru
We visited the TATS Cru at the New York City Graffiti Hall of Fame where they have had a long standing "residency" by painting the outside wall for over two decades. For the crew this outdoor "studio" allows them to connect to the neighborhood of El Barrio (East Harlem) and with the community that has come to love and appreciate their graffiti murals.

Mad love from LA!!! ✨✨✨🔥🔥🔥
I had a good time at this year's event. So many dope writers painting. Tats Cru killed their wall as usual. I swear those dudes are aging in reverse. I'm 40 and BG looks younger than me
Puro What Up? I'm Good B.. How You Doin My Brotha? [ I Could Complain, You don't wanna hear that shit! ] #LMAO 😂 #RealShit (usually people say #IcantComplain )
Great, now if only the talentless taggers would stop messing up every city wall with their pointless scribbles. Someone give those kids some butcher paper and crayons.
TATS cru legends….
Best bicycle helmet.
Is that Tuffy from Video Music Box?
TATS Cru crushing it worldwide forever
not in Europe
I thought they were gonna’ have a grip on the corporate advertising world by now. Thank you for the huge piece y’all bring to the table, TATS Cru. I bow my head to y’all regardless. How does it feel to have these ungrateful fucks stomp while they stand on your shoulders? I see royalty. Salute.
Deadass, y’all can still have a lock on this computer world in a way nobody new can. I thought that was y’all plan you said… Experience wins.
To me, TATS Cru are the ultimate ambassadors of graffiti. Not only are they incredibly technically proficient with spray cans, but they are even Nicer (pun) human beings.
Respect to Brim and Bio Tats Crew for bringing the graffiti culture to the UK back in 1986
Art!
Legends out of the ether building .
Those black men at that time were a disgrace… they should have armed themselves and fight back.. this is unacceptable behavior of these black men.. cowards.. kmt
Big Up Drax
There’s the Mugsies and then there’s that OMEGA piece…so damn influential
Love from Berlin ❤
I admired the work of zephyr as a teenager. I’m 56 now, and to me these guys were legends. To them they were just living life, having fun, and loving their craft. They were an interesting caricature of the urban youth of that era.
Copy pasted the MOCA's show
Not even close. That show was massive and amazing and included Risk, Cartoon, Revok, and lots of others not included in the Museum of Graffiti. It was a great exhibition that was not focused exclusively on writers which is the case here. Tracy168 to KAWS, Faith47, 1UP crew, EWOK, and so many others are here and were not included there. We are not into copy cat ideas but all the artists they and we represent deserve to be recognized. Some overlap, some don't.

Great interview! So informational about the graffiti that evolved into a “fine art”. I lived in the same building with Kenny and Doze. Now, at almost 80 years old; I connected their breakdancing, graffiti, skateboarding to the pre-culture of hip hop. They were and are so talented.

This video is so inspiring. I havent lived up to my potential after getting clean and I used to love spraying and painting and drawing...this really inspires me to keep going and paint again
Hip Hop culture was a high point in the 20th Century. So much incredible culture. Awesome video.
Run DMC, TMF, Rock Steady, QBert, etc. all gave me a sense of pride of my culture as a kid. And this is in a world where culture was interpreted by rich and powerful adults.
