Your Light: for Tessa

Your Light Some people possess a gift, a gift of light that touches the core of a human soul. In life, your light lifted us. It made us beam from ear to ear. It made others shine, too. In rest, your light has not dimmed, but grown brighter. It glows in our souls in our darkest moments. It shines in father sky so bold and bright. We hear you in the melodies we create. We feel you in the spaces w...

Beneath the African Sky - Accompaniment only
Переглядів 336Рік тому
I have thought about doing this for a while... recording only the piano accompaniments to some of the pieces I have written. This is "Beneath the African Sky," a collaboration I did with Paul Caldwell many years ago. Paul's contribution to this piece is BY FAR the reason it works. It is one of my most favorite pieces we wrote together, and Paul is the genius behind it. But I have chosen to isol...

my choral teacher removed this from this semester and i cannot forgive him. this is BEAUTIFUL, and i refuse to graduate without having performed it.
Absolute beauty.
Beautiful ❤
Beautiful song and beautifully sang ❤
How beautiful!
Ive always have wondered why the congregation that the royal 🎉goes to have to look sideways why can't the pews be facing towards the alter
i am usa Catholic. Not familiar with this hymn either. But i love it.
That song was at the end of the movie chariots of fire
Very powerful, and that’s an understatement. Movie fans will remember the opening scene of “Chariots of Fire” with this as background while Brits training for the Olympics ran on the beach. One of best openings of a movie ever.
Bring me my Bow of burning gold: Bring me my arrows of desire: Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold! Bring me my Chariot of fire! I will not cease from Mental Fight, Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand: Till we have built Jerusalem, In Englands green & pleasant Land. Perfection!
God Save The King
Yes should be our national anthem
John 11.25-26 Jesus said unto her I AM the resurrection and the life he that believes in me though he were dead yet shall he live and whosoever lives and belives in me shall never die believest thou this Amen
Praise the Lord to see another believer here. I also love this hymn
It should be our national anthem and not something about a monarch who wasn't elected by the public, I'd also like to have I vow to thee my country as a second choice for the national anthem
Jérusalem après les compagnons de la Chanson, on s'en tape dehors
Jerusalem from a poem by William Blake, music by Sir Hubert Parry And did those feet in ancient time walk upon England's mountains green? And was the holy Lamb of God on England's pleasant pastures seen? And did the countenance divine shine forth upon our clouded hills? And was Jerusalem builded here among those dark Satanic Mills? Bring me my bow of burning gold! Bring me my arrows of desire! Bring me my spear! O clouds, unfold! Bring me my chariot of fire! I will not cease from mental fight, nor shall my sword sleep in my hand, till we have built Jerusalem In England's green and pleasant Land.
Awesome awesome sharing dear friend ❤️🙏🙏🕊️🕊️🕊️ Really enjoyed watching Super big big like thumbs up 👍👍👍👍 See you again take care keep intouch ❤️ God bless you continue 🙏🙏🙏🕊️
Am a member of a male choir for many years, we would told off if we did not know our words, so disapointed to see an English choir not knowing the words of Jerusalem.😥😥
This is an American Choir, Michigan US
We have toured the world from Australia NZ US Argentina meny european countries etc etc, but had to learn all their songs and anthems by heart.🤣🎶🎶
I should have mentioned if you would be interested I am a member of "Cor Godre'r Aran" for the past 56 years we are on utube. All the best, hope to be in US and Canada next year.
Beautiful feel the spirit if the Lord. Amen 🙏
Have you asked your local imam for permission to perform such beauty, this is a patriotic song not allowed in modern former Britain, ask imam.
NEVER !!!!!!
what nonsense
@@paulcasini4759 I love your reply. Never be slaves
Goosebumps
Says a lot about Scotland, when an intelligent woman is ignored because of her religious views. Oor Welly 🤗☕
The last night of the proms version is always magnificent. More from the heart of the plebs. 🙂
Jerusalema
Nor shall my sword sleep in my hand !
Bet you didn't know Jesus came to England? I hope he visited Birkenhead.
Kommt zu IHM, JESUS,mit allen Sorgen, ER ,lebt, ist auferstanden.
This starts off from the old legend - supported by GK Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc - that Our Lord visited England as a boy, brought by his uncle, the trader St. Joseph of Arimathea, who returned after the Crucifixion and is buried here …
Anyway...the church Is a Roman Catholic One...the icon of our lady of Guadalupe, the Rich Altar and crucifix...the only real actual christian religion..christus vincit , christus regnato, christus imperat! Long Life to pope Francis, May God protect him and all the r.c. worshippers in the world, especially in islamic countries( 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏😞😞😞😞😞)
So nice
I love this. Your choral did a very good job singing it.
Our national anthem should be “ Land of Hope and Glory, Mother of the Free”.
As an italian and as a roman catholic...god bless England....these verses are beautiful and the music is astonishing!
As an agnostic atheist (very good at it~!), and as a New Zealander in England ... I second your statements. It is beautiful indeed, absolutely; the song, the country, and the people. Strange, different, weird ... but lovely.
But are not new Zealand english ? The same race and Blood....
@@lantana3217 New Zealanders are very very sensitive on this topic. Short answer, no. Even shorter answer- NO! Brrrr ... if ever you go to New Zealand, stay very quiet on this subject or with any opinions. Brrrrr.
@@johnhough7738 Who colonized your country? Spanish? Portuguese?...no...British people
@@lantana3217 True. And a lot of people are happy with that. But ... a lot of NZ people have inferiority complexes bigger and better than anyone else - the favourite Kiwi statements almost always include the words "World beating". Our systems are mostly British, but everything else is the best in the world.
Should be our national anthem
This is the English unofficial anthem
I agree
I am surprised the congregation didn't stand up for this.
@@harrietwoolever6180 I love it when they do
How wonderful thank you.
This was banned by the BBC in 1971 because it's also a political jibe at the establishment WILLIAM BLAKE who wrote it was a champion for the poor and downtrodden of England..And he was a deeply religious man who was against our wars and colonisation of other lands and supported the FRENCH REVOLUTION..
My mum's favourite hymn which we proudly played at her funeral
@@ORDEROFTHEKNIGHTSTEMPLAR13 Thank you that was a fascinating insight.
What a tremendously beautiful and powerful Christ-centered Biblical song in honor, praise and worship of Our Lord and God Jesus Christ The King of Kings and Lord of Lords, The Alpha and The Omega, The Beginning and The End, The Resurrection and The Life, The Lion of Judah, The Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, who is The One with The Father, The Incarnate Logos, Our Lord and God Jesus Christ. We pray for the peace of Jerusalem. May Our Lord and God Jesus Christ Bless The Great Christian Peoples of America and the United Kingdom, and May Our Lord and God Jesus Christ Bless us all who stand strong in Our Faith in Christ throughout the world Amen. In The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit The Only One True God as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end Amen ❤❤❤❤❤

Beautiful and Powerful! May God bless the English! Thanks from a Scots Irish man in Louisiana
I guarantee your Scots/Irish relations would be spinning in their graves, "God bless the English " really?
we call that "Ulsterman" not "Scots Irish"
