Notched down the hi-hats so it doesn't overpower the mix, added some plate reverb and tube saturation for that maximum forgotten 80's late night procedural outro vibes.

Mesmerizing track; the waveform view definitely helps :) That bassline! This is my first time using corrscope; any critiques or suggestions welcome. Samples are kinda hard to re-trigger correctly compared to simple waveforms, after all. Audio rendered using pt2-clone. MOD file link: modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=185588

"Connect your PC speaker to a subwoofer for moar jamz" demo entry slide The credits song for the Area 5150 demo, running on the original IBM PC (!). 1-bit PC speaker dubstep* has no business being this catchy. Audio is unedited except for a high-frequency notch around 15KHz and volume normalization, sourced from the original Evoke Twitch stream. "Visuals" shoddily made with Astrofox. pouët page...

No CRTs? Guess faux CRTs will have to do! The infamous bb text-mode Linux demo, now with shaders. Capturing audio was more hassle than it's probably worth I had to get Debian 7 running under a VM and then capture the audio on the host machine. As such, ignore the Windows "USB unplugged" sound at the 5:00 mark :) Framerate isn't... great, probably due to some kind of bottleneck in cool-retro-ter...

My previous upload is missing a few tracks, including the lead guitar :( It should sound much better now that it's being played by a Roland Sound Canvas emulator and some room EQ effects courtesy of iZotope. Again, background stolen from a Google Image search.

how does it works about the schism tracker?
I'm trying to learn how this wonderful piece of music is made, and I'm trying to figure out the structure of the whole piece, but I'm having some difficulty just listening. I would appreciate it if you could share this project file with me!

As far as I know, the track hasn't been released separately (unlike TEST1.MOD from the end of 8088 MPH.) Even the final version of the demo itself hasn't been released yet, all we have is the "party" version at the time of this writing. Maybe you can ask cTrix or rip it from the demo files? :)

Yes, 15.7KHz sample rate and PWM. If you dont know what that is search it up on wikipedia
Basically with some very precisue cpu timings and various other coding wizardry you can put the beepers output to arbitrary positions between completely on and completely off (since it still takes a small amount of time to move between the two states) From there it's just regular PCM, akin to playing and generating a wav file.

The acoustic guitar in the beginning is absolutely insane. Love the sound of the 88 Pro in general, but you made it REALLY shine here. Nice job!
How about an instrument list? In the beginning, I can hear the Nylon+Steel, but what about everything else?

Nope, I have zero musical talent :) This was from a midi file I found on a rhythm game folder. I'm just listening to the song. Credits goes to 'JMY,1AA' (according to the midi file.)
