expected frustration break in period . some minor issues feeding with the 2 and 5 round factory magazines , although the 10 round magazine which is what I expected to have the most problems with almost worked flawlessly, I will have a better video up soon on my review .

grown in a 10 gallon fish tank , all excess copper sulfate solution will be cleaned and recovered , and saved for future projects , i decided to do this on a larger scale , because i saw everyone on youtube doing it in close quarters , so i stretched the anode and cathose to roughly 9" apart , and my theory is it will produce better stronger crystal growth .

the simplest thing you could possibly do with no mechanical experience ever to make your bike stop backfiring ,( disclaimer ) do this at your own risk , im not responsible for your bike sounding better only you are :)

Isn't it just lean? Shouldn't you adjust the fuel map in the ECU so it doesn't run hot and backfire? I only ask because I have the same problem with my pipes glowing red hot, so I know it's a fuel map issue...

Just a FYI, do a pair valve block, cap 2 ends and the backfire disappears. Huge difference and no issues what so ever.

Have you heard of the Camshaft Mod?? I printed it off for Dad, cause he has the 21 KLX300R too - actually was genuinely impressed with his machine as his is currently stock and he keeps up with my 2019 TM Racing EN300ES 2t with full race engine, and 22 CRF450R (Offroad modified)just fine, even when I give it the beans...especially when he guns it from 3rd on up to rev limiter. So the best mods for him would be 1. PC full exhaust 2.Dynojet PC V w/PC map 3.KDX snorkel 4. change gearing for more bottom end? 5. You said Pair valve delete? 6. O2 delete? -Also, do you know if someone remaps the ECU or if you can get a Vortex ECU for it or something?? Also commented on another video that I found a Camshaft modification with instructions one, but it was for the non-EFI KLX300 so don't know if it translates. Gonna try buying these things for my Pops so he fully enjoys it, and yours sounds SICK! Sounds just as PUNCHY as anything else out there - really such a great machine that many people don't even know about...partially because they are sold as soon as dealerships receive them. @@normichtrailrider.7343 Well, I have been riding for over 50 years. Fuel loading is a bit different than backfire. I wasn't trying to be nasty. Good that you fixed it though.
Technically, a backfire is when it backfires through the intake valves and carb. A backfire is really bad and has been misused for fuel loading since the 70's. Fuel loading is when the fuel is not fully burned in the combustion chamber and is ignited after the exhaust value by hot components like a header or collected in a muffler and when it gets to a critical amount and fires. There are other types of issues like ignition timing, valve timing or the way the intake butterfly closes when the throttle is released and the fuel ratio changes and creates either a fuel load issue or lean fire issue. All of the latter 3 issues will pop out the exhaust pipe. When I built cars in the 70's you would often see a backfire with flames coming out of the carb.

Pull all that junk off and put a blocking plate on the valve. May see CEL after. There's a module available to solve that issue.

@@killerX9979 Mine came from eBay. Not strictly a 'legal' item in some instances. "KLX pair valve block off". You'll also need a module from smart moto to keep the CEL off. Good luck

You don't need a hose , if you have a pair valve you just block it ,
How often do you do oil change?
Every 5 or 6 hours complete overkill but it's a single cylinder high revving motor so it doesn't bother me .
