What a sunrise we got to see this morning! the fishing was a bonus as we head way up the top of one of my favourite creeks flicking lures deep into some snags. Zman Diezel Minnowz in Gold Rush once again were too reliable, it sunk slightly faster that the mulletron and with most fish biting down deep getting it down was the key for converting bites into fish landed. Taking my 2 mates from Brisbane for 6 days at Hinchinbrook. Scores were tight to see who could come away the champ for 2024. Favourite lures used were: Zman: Goat Toadz, Diezel minnows BCT Lures: 5 inch Dirty Prawno, 5/0 Dirty Flasher MMD: 85mm Fat Skipper

After a late start with a 8:30am airport pick up we got down to the creek and started our way upstream to chase some barramundi. Ended up being a day of the MMD Fat Skipper in Red vs the 4inch Zman Diezel Minnowz in Gold Rush. Lures were most successful when put on a BCT Dirty Flasher 5/0.

Managed to squeeze a day trip to Hinchinbrook on some king tides (4m ) and we spend the day throwing Zman Goat toadz.
