L’AlGoRhythm si presenta come pioniere della New Sax Generation.
Ideatori del “Cubismo musicale”, nuovo genere musicale nato dalla mente del Baritonista Marco Mancini in cui vengono riproposte cover tratte dal genere Pop/Rock in chiave Cubista:
la scomposizione delle linee melodiche delle cover stesse in forme musicali appartenenti a linguaggi diversi permette di rappresentare lo spazio-tempo sonoro attraverso la presenza simultanea di molteplici punti di vista stilistici, classici, jazz, atonali, minimalisti, rock, pop, elettronics.
Il repertorio è orientato anche sul genere classico e sulle composizioni originali e d’autore, puntando sulla relazione proficua con giovani compositori alla ricerca di nuove frontiere sonore; molte composizioni sono state dedicate all’AlGoRhythm Sax Quartet.

Two words for the curiosity of the intellect: the ultimate goal of musical Cubism is to represent a fragment of the known sound reality from multiple coexisting perspectives, in a vertical or horizontal time frame. Many different compositional techniques that aim to deconstruct the original idea of the piece convene in the created fantasy, while the acoustic and electronic dimensions find their perfect symbiosis. Therefore, as was the case with the cubist painters, we try to create in the listener's mind a shift, from an initial perspective he already knows to a different, new perspective from which to see innovative musical panoramas, and then return to what represents the known to him.
