what's the average price for 335i or 335is in USA? Nice video man, car sounds amazing
man the 335is is timeless. imo it actually looks more modern than the 340 !
I agree lol. I’m a lil bias but god the e92 is to timeless
I agree, I have the same layout on my e90, people think that my car is really modern
@@dinars74 right its surprising how many people think its a newer car than it is. People are surpsied they are 15 years old or older and still look modern
How much it costs for you .?
About $1000 for everything.
Nice drive! Usually you can setup you cam a bit darker...I guess it's more important to have a nice view to the outside over the look of the inside. And you could look into a set of ND filters ✌✌
Appreciate the advice! I had someone else comment about that and was trying to change it in post rather than the gopro setting. Next vid should be much better, this was recorded about a month ago.
@@youraveragen54 the problem is, once the picture information is lost because of too much light, you can’t get it back. If the picture is too dark, there is still a lot of information in there that can be saved in post ✌️
Thanks for the insight! Appreciate all the advice. Still learning to edit etc
@@youraveragen54 Me too 😅✌️
exhaust details ? just stock exhaust and catless downpipes ?
Yup stock exhaust with vrsf downpipes
@@youraveragen54 stock exhaust tips too?
Yessir
Hey man great content! Were those M3 paddles plug and play into your 335is or did you have wire in resistors for them to work properly?
Really appreciate! Glad you enjoyed it. Yessir the paddles were plug n play. Since the 335is paddles come factory with downshift on left and upshift on right it was plug n play.
Where’d you get the steering wheel?
Azaautowheel
did you notice an upgrade with the s55 flywheel?
Seems to rev a slight amount faster and maybe downshifts a lil faster but not a huge difference.
What’s up bro if you’re located in NorCal do you know anyone who has a flow testing machine and services injectors?
Unfortunately I don't know of anyone who does injector servicing in Norcal. I know of a few in Socal that you can send your injectors to and they will test and service them. Lmk if you want the names.
@@youraveragen54 yeah bro if you could send me in their direction I would appreciate it!
Ian Quinn on n54tech on Facebook. I’ve heard good from him but never had it done yet
Good Ol' Salmon Falls Rd.
One of my favorite roads. When there isn't traffic...
I could honestly watch your vids all day. When I build my 335i sedan, we’ll cruise together someday. I’m in the bay :)
Used to have a e90 335i. Loved that car. Glad you enjoy the vids!! Hell yea, Im mostly over in Sac. Haven't been to the bay in awhile.
limit your iso on your go pro to like 800 so that it isnt so dam bright and we can see everything.
Appreciate it! I have been trying to figure out why its so over exposed and bright. I’m def no camera expert lol.
The convertibles do have fog lights my 335is does
Didn’t realize I said the e93 doesn’t. Meant to say the e93 has fog lights and e92 doesn’t. Only reason I brought up the e93 lol. Good catch tho
nice video how do you have your go pro mounted, is it just a headband?
Appreciate it! I use a hat and clip. Tedward has a great vid on how he films. Just look up “tedward how I film”. I do the same since the headband mounts have the POV way too high and looks funny. I don’t have it as low as him to not get in my eyesight at all but I use the same hat and clip.
Please keep videos coming
Gotchu
Must be nice having a Bimmer tech friend
It rly is. We started learning and working on our 335i’s few years ago and he decided to become a tech.
sounds amazing
Appreciate it!
if only it was stick 😔
Sounds pretty good tho
Had a manual e90 335i before this for a few years. I def enjoy this car more but miss manual. Next car def will be manual
Where did you get a S55 flywheel for $170???
A local auto dismantler didn't know what they went for and thought it was just a flexplate like in a traditional auto transmission so sold it cheap. Low miles too!
car sounds good !
Appreciate it!
where did you get your steering wheel and which jacks are you using!? thx in advance and great video!
Steering wheel is from Azaautowheel. You can use pretty much whatever combo u want from them. I used quickjacks to lift the car. I believe it’s the 5000TL model
@@youraveragen54 appreciate ya!
This deluze?
Don’t think so. This is near San Diego
Nice run❤❤
Come do this full exact service to my car
When and where lol
A lot of parts there 🤣👌🏽🔥🔥
Absolutely! Only wanna remove the trans once before upgraded clutches.
thank you so much for this, buying an is soon and this is so incredibly helpful!!!!
Glad it was helpful! IMO you gotta change all the gaskets, rear main seal, and s55 flywheel. Especially with most of these starting to get higher in mileage.
go crazy man
only wanna do it once lol
good content
Appreciate u! Slowly but steadily getting better
I also have a 335iS. You have to upgrade the rotors man. My oem brake discs were bended from the heat
What rotors are u running?
@@youraveragen54I got a set of Brakemax front discs. 348 Mm perforated/ventilated
This sounds so good keep it up bro! Love to see the content
Thanks! Will do!
Amazing video!!!
Bro What mod did you done?
Bro make a video to explain What mod you have done, sound good
Full mod list, walk around, and driving/revving clips coming in a few days.
Nice i have the same car 08 BMW 335i twin turbocharged N54 downpipe setup straight pipes with charged pipe alots of setup already out running 🏃 Chevy Camaro zl1 and SS and Ford Mustang 5.0,GT race my brother 2023 Bentley GT,Dodge charger Hellcat Dodge challenger/ Charger R/T and Scatpack 392 6.4l Hemi etc i can say out of all these cars i won 9 out of 10 times...
That wheel looks sick! What mods have you done to the engine?
Ty bro I def liked it too! The E90 335i has upgraded inlets, Tial BOV, 7” intercooler, and MHD stage 1+ ots.
Amazing video! Love the editing!
Thank you bro!!!

To quick with it 😂
Car sounds amazing
Yessir! GOAT
Ehhhhh looks wise it’s close, but mechanically not a chance. Everythings plastic and breaks and it always leaking oil from somewhere head gaskets, oil filter housing, near the pans.
Obviously, it's an exaggeration no need to take everything so seriously lol. How many n54 have u owned and worked on?
@@youraveragen54 I wasn’t being overly serious, just wanted to converse and see if other owners feel the same. They one my favorite cars I’ve owned 2. Currently have 1 still has my second car.
@@yktv738 Ahhhh makes more sense. I was thinking u were a troll lol. Im on my second N54 car and about 60K total miles driven on N54s with over 100k miles. I am very big into preventative maintaince and using quality parts and not China or lower qualiter. So ive never really delt with the OFHG, Oil pan, wastegate rattle, injectors, HPFP, and coolant hoses since I replaced them when I got the car. Never been stranded by a n54. Yes the n54 has had more issues than other cars but ive really never had bad experience or a real issue with them. I think what matters most when buying used in maintainence records & making sure its not from some dude who beat the shit out of it and used shit parts. Thats atleast my opinion.
@@youraveragen54 I could tell you thought that hahahah, and same brotha. I’m thinking about getting into a low mileage B58 and slowly work to 500 hp. Idk yet tho I love the n54
@@yktv738 Def did lol. Tbh I'm not a huge B58 fan. It's a solid engine and makes great power but it's so close to the price of a F82 and they look so much better and overall are a better car imo even if it doesn't run the same time from a dig. I def love the n54 also and am excited for PI delete on n54

Hey I’m looking at buying a 335i, which is better to you coupe or sedan, is the older 335i you have worse than the newer 335i
I think its more of a personal preference. They both drive extremely similar, the e90 feels like you are lower in the seat than the e92. The e92 has a noticeably longer door which at first was a little bit weird but you get used to it fast. I personally prefer the look of the e92 over the e90 but again thats personal preference. Having owned both and driven both for a few years I can say without a doubt I would choose my e92 335is over the e90 335i. They were a 4 year difference in model year so the e92 feels newer and less old than the e90. I still do miss the e90 335i since it was manual and very fun to drive vs the DCT in the 335is which is a little more boring but so fast shifting. If you are seriously looking at getting one I really recommend test driving both to get a proper feel and then choose from there. Hope this helped!
Hi great video, what camera did you use to film this vid?
Glad you liked the vid! The camera was a Sony A6000. I cant remember the exact lense used since it was a few of them.
What wheel is this
Azaautowheel
when you did the turbos did you only have to take off the manifold, or did you have to drop the subframe to do the turbo replacement? im looking to get a 335i soon
So when I replaced my turbos I removed my entire subframe becasue I was also replacing the oil pan gasket, installing bigger inlets, and a few other small things. I would also recommend doing at them at the same time it will be much easier. You dont have to remove the subframe the entire way but if you are doing it on jack stands it abosultely makes it easier to get to everything. Also the manifold is built into the turbos so u would have to remove it if you are changing the turbos.
@@youraveragen54 ok thx ... and i ended up getting that 335i <3
