Good work but here to say it's noncey as f"ck having cameras in toilets XD
Thanks mate! This got me man😂 it’s basically used for people doing drugs etc, they legally have to have privacy masking across any urinal spots etc 🤙🏼
Thanks mate
Hope to see more access control installs this👍
Absolutely David! I’ll be sure to get a few more booked in for the channel mate!
@WattageWill I work with roller shutters etc, looking maybe to get into access controls!! Paxton systems etc!
Neat job pal 👍
Thank you mate, appreciate the support!
Great stuff mate, as a sparky I do the odd bit of Hikvision, good to see how the wireless bridges work etc. looking forward to the next one bud 👍🏼
Hey mate! I think you’ll like it, the wireless link kits are amazing bits of kit! Thanks a lot man for the support, part two is uploading as we speak! 🔥
A mag lock on a final exit door?
@@cantbelieveimhere2935 Hello mate🤙🏼 Lock has been fitted to prevent non permitted users entering the room. Internally fitted with a safe means of exit system which would be a push to exit, break glass in the event of an emergency and is also wired through to the fire so this will drop power in the event of a fire⚡️
@WattageWill thanks for the reply, my understanding is a final exit door requires 'one motion' means of escape in an emergency. Having to press the BGU then go to handle is 2 motions. Not all emergencies are fires, so it will have to be manually opened?
Love to see more of the wiring on the system;)
Absolutely mate! It’s been a struggle without a head cam but the content will improve overtime🙏🏼⚡️
Finally a fire and security channel!! Subscribed 💪🏻
Hero⚡️🙏🏼💙
we use paxton poe boxes more thease days
wow, that cat 5 switch terrible
Believe me I know 😂 it’s a shower of **** (existing switch installed by IT, didn’t want a new network nor cab putting in)
Just came across your channel through this video, i’m currently studying to become an electrician along with juggling full time work💀but loved the video, the humour and I gotta ask mukka, am yow from the black country an all?😂P.S i also have a monster a day, but gotta balance that shit out with a big bottle of water😂👌🏻keep up the ace work, just subbed
@@YoungBobby98 Hey mate! Thank you for the love🙏🏼 I feel your pain, I also did my quals night school whilst working 6/7 days a week, fight through it mate you’ll smash it!! Love that😂 I’m Kidderminster myself but spent half my life in Birmingham and surrounding so I’d say yes to that😂😂 mate that’s class I literally have a 3L jug of squash with me in the day to balance the monster out😂😂
Hey buddy: Glad you got that tooth out at last & your starting to get back to normal 😁. You might want to look at getting a ladder standoff for working on lamp posts, just clips to the top of the ladder & makes life a lot safer. £25.00 well spent.
Hey mate, hope you’re well! Thanks man it’s an absolute life saver having it out😂 you know what I very nearly bought myself one a week before this job & wish I did😂
Always a pleasure working with the main man🫡
Here he is🙏🏼⚡️
Working a Saturday and in this weather. Well done lads, rather you than me 🙂
@@Punktastic1 Definitely could think of better places to be😂 thanks mate!
For toothache, get some oragel and rub it on the tooth and surrounding area, numbs the pain
Thanks matey! The tooth comes out tomorrow😩😩

Hi will interested to know what you used to join the first camera together to extend the cable... thanks :-)
@@Math085 Hey mate! In all honesty 90% of the time it would be a re-cable I’m not a big fan of jointing cctv but if it’s a must then either RJ45 couplers that you can get from most wholesalers! In this case I used jelly crimp connectors mate!
@@WattageWill cheers mate! keep the content coming
@@Math085 Never a problem mate🙏🏼 thanks man, plenty to come!
Why didn't you run the first conduit behind the lintel rather than in full view outside? Just asking.
@@ColinDH12345 Hey mate! This was my initial plan definitely would of looked a ton neater! But as the roof has got such a pitch to it, I would have had to conduit externally to get the height of the camera anyway! (If that makes sense)😂
Get yourself some orajel lad - that'll give you some respite for a few hrs
@@mrtobiastaylor86 you’re a star mate thank you 🙏🏼
Now that's sneaky but a bloody good way of hiding the panel
Mate it took me so so long to find this😂 awesome location!
Just found this channel, been looking for content that focuses on this type of work for ages, door access, the lot. I used to work in security guarding and do cctv installs myself at home. Glad i found this, keep the content coming fella, yah need to get a GoPro and mount it to your chest 😂 hands free 👍 Do you do PTZ installs at all
@@tomalex4806 Hello mate! Thank you for the kind words I really appreciate it, made my day! Gopro is definitely on the list you’re right😂 I sure do, I’ll try and get one lined up soon and include it in the videos! We did a Dahua PTZ last week with the auto track, awesome bit of kit!

Think you need to find him a good woman buddy, and quick 😁.
A dentist !!! In the U.K.. good luck.
@@merlin5476 yeah good point😂
About the strongest your going to get is Naproxen which is available from your doctor & is anti inflammatory as well, you don't want to be up ladders when taking it though.
@@rscelectrical7091 You’re a hero mate thank you🙏🏼 I’ve got a week to go until the tooth comes out so exploring every possible option to help!
Your welcome mate, I've been there and know what it's like. I spent a good few years as a security engineer & had an abscess a couple of times, up a ladder in the freezing cold with an abscess on your tooth is defo not my idea of fun. Rinsing your mouth with neat Rum or whiskey works as well. Just don't drive, hope you get it cleared up soon.
@@rscelectrical7091Honestly mate it’s the worst pain I’ve experienced in years! Had plenty of broken bones and the rest of it but nothing compares to it😂 thanks mate I really appreciate the kind words🙏🏼

@@ARC_CONTROL Too right man🙏🏼 we got the job done💙
whats the dahua video intercom like, i use the cdvi 2easy and the picture can be very laggy and a long pause after a call is answered to when you can actually hear the person outside. Looking for a better alternative.
Hey man! After experiencing issues like you’ve said with other brands, I’ve stuck with Dahua since & can’t seem to find a fault with it at the moment it’s a brilliant bit of kit for the cost! I’m yet to install one at my own property so I’ll try and get a run down video on it 🤙🏼
fishing that type of "power cable" 3:37 through the wall would be a code violation here(usa) and I imagine it would be there also, seeing it's an appliance/extension cord/portable type cabling. not in wall rated, etc. also smaller gauge, which I believe there would go to a fused plug or am I thinking of the wrong country?
Hey dude! Mmm not so sure on that one, can’t say I’ve ever come across that (UK) this is a 1.5mm flex cable we use over here, Live, neutral, earth. Often used 99% of the time with things such as access control, intruder alarms, CCTV etc.. and much more. Perfectly up to standards for what we do with it but may be different over there for you guys!

@@ritchi4343 We both know that’s the better pick out of the two😉🔥💙
New subscriber here, liking the vids, would be good to see CCTV install from start to finish including how you fish the cables and set up the NVR/DVR. Also be good to see the van tour
@@Punktastic1 Hey man! Thank you for the support, I really appreciate it! I’ve had that mentioned a few times now so I’ll be sure to get an upload done from start to finish for you! I’m hoping to drop the van tour this weekend!
Wtf is that chase 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@ritchi4343 don’t go there😂😂😂 (my own house) the entire room was getting re plastered so was a quick bit of content😂😂
Would have been nice to see how you got the cable to the maglock through the door frame , cheers
Thanks mate, I’ll add this into the next video for sure! On this we drilled at two separate angles. One from the door frame where the connection would sit up, one down from the inside of the trunking to meet in the middle 👍🏼
Good video mate, I always like to put the PTE as first point of contact meaning I’d of swapped them around and put the pte on the right but can’t beat abit of door access
@@lukemacleod6325 Thanks mate! I must agree looking back on this install I’d have probably done the same (usually would) purely making it easier for the user to not get confused & hit the BG😂 thanks man!
100% always put RTE closest to door
Great work! I’d love to see a video on wiring a fire alarm system with the different zones. No body has got a video like that
@@sukhi17 Thanks mate I really appreciate that! That’s definitely something I can look into getting on the channel for sure!
Get yourself some locking forceps great as they are very thin and can clamp on the wire and take no room up in the tool pouch.
@@wjnr1 Thanks man!!
Enjoyed this, it’s been a long time since I’ve done AACS. Not sure if you did this or not, BS 7671 includes prevention of premature collapse of cables, especially on escape routes, so within the trunking metal band or fold over clips are used, might be teaching granny to suck eggs, so apologies if that’s the case, oh, the door could do with a closure device 😊
@@Chatterisdotbiz Thanks a lot for the feedback mate, really appreciate it! I must admit in this case I used all round band within the trunking which I tend to use 90% of the time within the trunking keeping it nice & tight! This was also fitted super sorry I didn’t add this into my video! Thanks man! ⚡️
Only just come across this video. It looks like your using 3 core flex directly from the back of the socket to feed your spur (probably .75 or 1mm & That's a no-no, it should be 2.5 t/e from the socket to the spur and then 0.75 3 core flex from the spur to the panel.
@@rscelectrical7091 hey man! I must admit I forgot to add the second clip to the end of this video which explains why we did this😂 😂 this was a temp as we had no 2.5 on the van and the panel needed to be powered for commissioning. This was changed a day later. Of course it should🙏🏼
What are your thoughts on EN179 & EN1125 regarding mechanical escape? Or BS EN 1125 2008 regarding panic devices? Or Building Regulations 2010 that state that there should be a minimum clear headroom of 2m (which your maglock is within)?
@@CallumWK Thanks for the comment mate! Should be absolutely adhered to at all times, in this case with it being a school we link out all of our panels to a relay within the fire system. I’ll add this into my next video for you. Meaning when the fire panel goes into either fault or fire all door systems are released & any individuals inside can safely escape! Push to exit button provides a standard route of exit. Break glass in times of emergency although the fire relay does this so this acts as a back up if you like mate.
@@WattageWill That doesnt account for the mechanical means of escape as the RTE is electronic - and linking access control to the fire alarm in a school means that anyone can gain access to any door by pushing a MCP which I'm willing to bet is accessible in the reception area before an access door. IMO the installation shown, like many others goes against all of the standards above. EN14846 doesn't apply here but if there are also mag locks attached to internal fire doors, that's another one for the list.
@@CallumWKare you suggesting that access control on doors shouldn’t be linked to the fire alarm via an interface? If it wasn’t then all doors would remain locked in an event of a fire!
@@lloydc1092 Which is why mechanical egress is part of the standard - free egress toward the fire escape direction via a mechanical handle not by electronic means.
@@CallumWK The doors will release in an event of a fire regardless if connected to the fire alarm- plus you have a RTE & BG If needed. If automated, even better - I think it would be a bit more difficult for a person using a wheelchair to use a push bar to exit the building, especially if not maintained
Whats the reason for needing shit like monster anyhow mate?
You’re right dude😂 need to get rid of the horrible addiction😭
Monster, for forking things up faster and emitting more blood. My motto is if you're not bleeding, you ain't working.. lol always stabbing myself with screw drivers, or other sharp things/splinters.
Switch to Sneak - better for you than Monster!
@@hew34 Thanks man! I’ll check it out 🙏🏼
Great Content, even when time was against you. Decent overview of the install, keep up the good work 👌🏽
Hey man! Thanks a lot I really appreciate it🙏🏼
The struggle is real !!!
👍
would be interesting to see a full CCTV install from start to finish also be good if you turned you phone landscape to get a full screen video
Hey man! For sure that’s definitely something I can do & thank you for the feedback, hopefully with the new camera on the way will make content a little better!
How come you didn’t segregate the AACS cables from the power, sort of negates the need for compartmentalised trunking
Hey man! Good question and you’re absolutely right, I come across it all the time😂 The only reason this was done is we drilled straight through the trunking-external wall. On the lower half for data & LV, the external wall had gas pipes at that level and didn’t really want to risk it! Played it safe, although 99% of the time data should always run separate to power as you’d know👍🏼
Why do you install metal capping complete waste of money in my opinion!
I’ll be honest mate.. you’re bang on the money! Total waste of time & money on the majority of jobs. The only reason I’ve done it in this instance to be completely truthful is to keep the online committee happy. But totally agree.. waste of time, bit of banding to hold the cable back does the trick⚡️
@@WattageWill you will get them mate 😂😂 them same people think metal capping protects against people screwing the cable as they haven’t a clue!! Keep what your doing mate don’t listen to keyboard warriors 👊🏻
