    I don't want to say that professore doesn't have the goid technique but his opponents should lern how to control the person in this position. They tired to pull the kimura but they didn't have the posture, didn't put one shin on his bicep, nobody squeezed him with the legs, nobody put the foot behind his back...

    when u do the esgrima pass with the collar grip and flat palm to the floor, i noticed that ur butt was up high, but when u repeated the belt grip pass, u stated the butt is not to be up high anymore. why is it different with the belt pass? is it because as u state the hip is already turned to the left already? or is there another reason for it that i missed?

  • @mertmeric5936
    @mertmeric5936 9 років тому

    why don't you sit to the head and make some pressure on instructor then let's see he is giving up for his arm or not. if there is no pressure they do not give their arm.

    Great Defense, something I really like to always work on even when I'm rolling with a lower belt. I would like to train with this black belt, he really knows his stuff...

    i'm deffenitly adding this pass to the game. normally go for the high hip knee slide, and good guard players make the pass super difficult. Thank you

    What if he pushes you to the same side you are going for the pass and omoplata your arm which is underhooking?

    • @MrBlonde47
      @MrBlonde47 9 років тому

      Your body should be too high on him for him to properly execute the omoplata. Your shoulder would have to be closer to his hip for him to hit that on you, if he tries it while you're too high up on him then he's giving up position.

    The escape is very good but why fight power for power? The person on top should not fight for the arm that is grabbing the belt. As long as the person on bottom is holding their belt they have incapacitated one (offensive and defensive) weapon. A blue belt will fight for the arm. Purple belts and above should know to transition to a different submissions.

    • @Honken
      @Honken 9 років тому

      He explains this in the video. The point is to learn how to defend the kimura first, then worry about transitions (which he also goes over). You have to walk before you run.

      man... it works hehe after your friends begin to know you are going to roll, they find ways to fast put the other leg in the armlock, and then u find ways to escape it too hehe
