I'm sorry to hear about your paper issues with Take a Note. It's my first time using and I have also had some issues. I like your attitude though - maybe it will only be a few pages, and we should keep using the book still. Hopefully it is not a big issue and your 'bad' pages are no more.

You could use the monthly calendar layout for a “word of the day” in a specific language? Maybe to expand your vocabulary ☺️

I love all the cat centered stationery 😻 if I could make a suggestion to revitalize your language planner, you could put the dots you currently have in the daily in the monthly section and then in the daily write a little entry in whatever your main language was of the day. sort of like a diary :) I find that when I first started learning, I was limited by how much I could express myself because of my minimal vocab/grammar knowledge. but this will now be my 3rd year doing it and I can already tell the difference

I’ve been having the same problem with the TAN English version. It hasn’t been every page but lately it’s been pretty bad. Never happened in my 2024 version just this years.

I am also experiencing bleed-through with the English Version, I was hopeful that it wouldn't since it is the 68GSM but I was wrong. I'll stick to Stalolgy moving forward unless the Sanzen TRP gets fixed.

Lovely selections, Ru! Baltic Breeze is a favourite of mine, too, as well as Tundra! And I remember that wonderful fragrance of hyacynths blooming in a pot in January from childhood and beyond!!! Heavenly, isn't it! ☺️

I match my pens to my inks. I only use certain ink colors, so I've been searching for my favorite tones of my chosen colors. I have almost all of them, and even a couple of pens that go with them. If only I could find planner peace as easily 😆 As for the Take a Note paper, I haven't had many issues yet, but I also don't write much in it. I do think I may change to a gel pen because I'm impatient about the dry time. And I don't even use very wet inks.

sadly this appears to be a widespread issue with Tomoe river paper. it’s quite shocking and disappointing.

what a lovely new pen! i’m so sorry to hear abt the paper in the TAN… i had similar issues in my weeks and had to switch to a gel pen recently :/ very unfortunate that there is so many issues with the new sanzen paper.

As for the take a note - oh noooo. That bleed through is really bad. :( It really seems like no planner is safe if they use TR paper. 😔

No! I'm going to pretend that I did not watch this. I do not need another place to shop for a LOI pen (or ANY pen, for that matter). That one looks beautiful. And OMG, your planner entries are AMAZING! So neatly done! Thanks for the calming and fun content.

I also have the TAN English a5, and have had sporadic bleed through on a few pages, but mostly it’s been okay. I also had a similar issue with my Hobonichi Weeks this year, but that has been much more consistently bad. It seems Sanzen has been having some quality control issues this year across both TRP offerings. I really hope they figure it out soon.

I love to see currently inked videos - just fun to see pens and inks. I have noticed the darkening of inks as well, but time frames different depending on ink and pen... especially like getting to end ... last bits of ink in a pen perhaps... So I just realized if I did a currently inked video, it would be completely unhinged because I ink all my pens all the time... which makes no sense! LOL... apparently people actually only ink what they use 😅

Great pen and ink combos!! I have two Montegrappas (an Elmo and a Venetia) and neither one seals very well because, sadly, my inks darken within 2-3 days. Now I purposely ink them with super light inks that I wish were darker 😅

That Hyacinth is the perfect blue for that pen!

It has been a while! Lovely color choices as always! Baltic Breeze was an instant favorite. It is frustrating when ink darkens in the pen.

You should put a clear cover on that hobonichi weeks so the stickers are protected 😊

My cat likes to cuddle more than play. When I am writing in my journal he jumps up and sits on my journal and puts his paw on my hand. He causes many ink smears. 😸

Love how your lineup all matches with cats *minus the raccoon on take a note. Looking forward to seeing how you fill up your take-a-note because that is another book I have admired, but don't actually need it to plan. I will live vicariously through your experience!

First of all! I am so glad I have discovered your channel. I love your vibes! Secondly, (around 25:49) making a digital collage and then print it out one by one is such a smart idea. This allows me to scale pictures to size there and make sure they all fit! I might do that from now on, too!
