Old version definitely has way better art direction and style tho it did make anderson alot less interisting, i also really liked the major as a character and he is not really even in this version so it is a shame, how ever serra gets way more development as a character i think especially with her struggle as a vampire both ultimate and 1990's version has something good to offer

When Alucard and Anderson meet again, they sound so happy at the rematch. Like they're greeting each other as buddies.

Alucard is such an arrogant beast. He dresses with such style. Loves pistols. Let's his opponents waste themselves attacking him. And then berrates and mocks them. Dude probably has an erection when he fights, and I'm alright with that.

The awesome pop-jazzy soundtrack, and the bloody design gave this anime such a style. Makes Hellsing seem the coolest thing ever.
