Built one of these before Christmas (2023) 1st few months went through batteries like no tomorrow. Replaced with rechargeable batteries which are even worse, looking to power up the base through a mains plug. Any suggestions on how to go about this?

GREAT tutorial! I'm modifying as I build, so for me this will be done is various stages; but right off in Stage 3 we start work on the dashboard, so your video will be a great help right off! Thanks! My only disappointment for those of us modifying as we build, we can't test the electrics. That's going to be nagging me until I get to the circuit board so I can plug it in.

Nice video. This should help Ains people to assemble this mod well. (Personally I will not buy, too expensive and above all, I find that Mike wanted to do it too much and missed the most important: the animation of the dashboard)

Sorry to hear you were so ill you had to go into the hospital. The illness was probably bad enough but being in the hospital had to have added to your misery. I hate hospitals; even though I use to work in one! What's the problem with the stripes?

OMG, I'm so sorry about what happened to you. I hope you're fit again and the damage isn't too bad. I don't know if it's the lighting, but the color of the stripes looks strange compared to the original. But I'm sure the Nissan will be a great model.
