@valancemccarthy3119 That's a tough one to answer as both were excellent. But we slightly preferred Padma overall I think. Both resorts are beautiful, with amazing views, pools and staff. But we felt padma was so relaxing and a slightly more personal experience. Something to think about however is that Kayon Jungle is quite a bit nearer Ubud itself, Padma is about 40 minutes or so out from Ubud, but is a very peaceful, relaxing experience! Hope this helps. Hi, it is a public beach yes, but there are some sun loungers on the beach just as you step on the beach from outside the hotel and they are in a roped off area belonging to the hotel. :)

Hi. I'm honestly not sure if they have a photographer there that you can hire for this, however we found them very responsive and helpful via WhatsApp messages so I'm sure if you drop them a message, they will be able to let you know :)

@user-op7cd5cs8c Hi. The water in the villa pool was heated so that was quite warm. The main public pools were quite a lot cooler, but I wouldn't say they were too cold. We enjoyed them. A bit cold when you first get in, but refreshing.

Thank you! We were there at the beginning of May. The temperature was about 26 and it was sunny every afternoon but quite often cloudy in the morning. The hotel and grounds were excellent and definitely lived up to the pictures and videos we had seen. We went on a day trip to Essaouira via get your guide and we enjoyed that day out. We also booked an evening sand dunes sunset trip which wasn't too far away, also through get your guide. We didn't go to Marrakesh as it was a bit too long of a day for us. But plenty of people do go there from this hotel. We walked down to the town of Taghazout and had a drink at a nice bar with a great ocean view, but there wasn't too much to do and see in the town itself. Hi. The beach was actually a lot nicer than we expected, particularly as you get close to the water. The water was very clean as was the majority of the beach. We are currently working on our full resort tour which should be up on the channel within the next week and that will have a beach walk as part of the video. Hi. We did the floating breakfast and had access before the general admission for the first 2 hours. It cost us 750,000 IDR (£36 GBP). This included a seat by the pool, the breakfast and the pool all to just us and 3 other couples for the first 2 hours. I think just regular admission is quite a bit cheaper, but varies in price depending what type of seating etc if you pre-book.

Great! I'm sure you will have an amazing time! The loungers were usually arranged like on the video just as you get to the beach. But I would imagine it would be fine to move them forward a bit. Sure the staff will let you know if this is OK.

Hi. Thanks for the nice comment! We stayed for 14 nights and found this a great length of trip as it allowed us enough time to enjoy the resort as well as a few days out exploring the island too. We also have a video on the channel of the places and beaches we visited.

Hi. It varies at different times I believe and there are a few room categories. For the Premier pool villa that we stayed in and is shown in the video, it cost us about £450 GBP per night. There are much cheaper room categories and even ones with private pools too that cost quite a bit less than that. Their most expensive is the Royal Pool villa, then next most expensive is the one in the video and they then have Valley pool villas, jungle pool villas and also standard rooms. A full list is on their official website which we actually found cheaper than trying to book through anyone else.

How cold was the water in the main public pool? Was it heated?
