Is this used by professional artists, or is it more for people who just want something to play with? I want to know because I have one, and it doesn't sound like something a professional would use, since it doesn't sound very realistic, compared to actual bongos.

I'm sorry, but this is not how you should play the cajon. The best way to play the cajon is hand to hand: Simple right left right left right left right left in 16th notes. or- R(1)L(e)R(&)L(a)R(2)L(e)R(&)L(a) etc, accenting, ghosting and moving whichever hand the beat falls on to the snare or bass. I do like this Cajon 🥁 drum I also bought one. I played up against many others. Easily seemed like it had 3 or 4 drums in it

So many conflicting reports concerning this Cajon. I must admit---- in this demo, it sounds very good, with very responsive bass.

I'm hard-pressed to trust advice about properly micing something when the vocal sound is so bad...

Hi, I am a drum kit player looking to transfer to the cajon for busking, jamming and maybe some acoustic gigs with my band. As we play (indie) rock a good bass sound is important. Would the aspire, or pearl's primero fit my needs, or would i need to look at high priced models? Thank you :)
