How come the story jumps an hour in? I'm lost now

I think the upload got messed up. We jumped from looking for mom and talking to the cop - to villains stopped in New Orleans and the wolf pack is her friends, then back to looking through Mama's house and restarting chapter 8.

This story is all over the place I'm soo confused
