CA Capital Airshow 2019
From the 2019 California Capital Airshow. No irritating background music or commentary (except for the stuff coming over the PA system), just still photos and video of vintage warbirds, modern aircraft, and air show performers, ending with the sky being graced by the Blue Angels.

Stagville Plantation

From 1771 to 1865, Stagville Plantation, near Durham, North Carolina was one of the largest slave plantations in the entire South. A small remnant of the once 30,000 acre complex has been preserved as a State Historic Site. This video is from a recent visit to the site.

This video was recorded on a wildland fire in Lake County, CA. Helitack 101, stationed at CDF Station Howard Forest in Mendocino County, was making water drops on the fire, refilling their water bucket in a nearby creek.

A sad chapter in American history, Geron. Man’s inhumanity to other men throughout the history of the world is nauseous especially when it is done in the name of religion. America fought a terrible war costing over 650,000 deaths on both sides and the result was the emancipation proclamation and the 25th amendment to the US. constitution outlawing slavery. Unfortunately, slavery still continues to rear its ugly head in other parts of the world.
