I had a 93 fxlr & traded for a 08 ultra. Dumbest damn thing I ever did. It was built & would fly. Now 76yrs. old & still miss that ride.

I see you removed the db reducers. Did you take out the whole baffle assembly too or just the reducers?

I'm super happy with mine, need to try it with the db reducers removed

Added the same ones on my Ram and Durango. Been two years and they have not failed on me. Did not have to disassemble the front clip. There was an access panel in the wheel well.

I turn 62 next month and buying a new Harley for my birthday. My last bike 17 years ago was a heavy ass street glide with the sluggish 88 cubic inch engine so torque & power was not impressive. When I saw this new lighter weight mid size cruiser with the 117 engine I knew immediately this is the perfect motorcycle for an older rider. I am 5'7" 130 lbs so hoping the standard fairing will provide enough wind protection as I will also be wearing a full face helmet. Back in the day I wore a $10 plastic brain bucket just so I wasn't pulled over in NY. The only modification I will be making is changing the pipes and doing either a stage 1 or stage 2. I do NOT like going 100MPH on a motorcycle but I LOVE going from zero to 60 as quickly as possible so need to figure out what engine mod Harley recommends. I am not even sure if all stage 2 upgrades use the same cam or are tailored to the individual's preference or if I just need a stage one with new pipes. Thank you for the review on this seat! I just got a 2007 Nightster, and the seat that's on it right now looks like on of the 80 dollar ebay step up seats, and after a 110 mile ride today, I decided I needed a new seat, and this really helps me get a better idea for what I want to get!

I bought 1200 iron with saddlemen 2 up, this thing is around $400, definitely NOT worth it, way too narrow, every bump feels like the frame being shoved up your butt For next years riding I'll be getting something else.......................I have had saddlemen seats that were really good seats, but not this one, and not the one for XR1200.....of course making a good seat for XR, is it possible?

Is the leather vegan?

I have a 2012 Sportster Superlow 883 and have a factory solo seat I'm guessing is similar to your solo seat. Does this seat change your seating position as far as moving you away from the tank and up at all? I'm 5'10" but have have a shorter inseam but my hips are killing me with a 20 minute ride. I don't think I want forward controls but also I don't want to spend $1000 between a seat and forwards to still have the same issue. Any insights?

I got that same seat. But the back hole wasn’t the same as the front one for the bolt. It’s actually smaller in size and the rear seat mount but doesn’t fit. Was that the same for yours?
