Beautiful. This is the "simple way" 😬 of altering my new Honda Civic's rpm in an attempt to obtain 60 mpg on the freeway. I have yet to figure out what these parts are called. The transmission people have ZERO idea of what I'm talking about when I tell them "I want to change the gear and shaft that's coming out of the transmission and also the gear that it attaches to on the engine side to produce lower rpm in the engine". In other words, 1. this part with a larger shaft side. 2. a smaller gear on the engine which the transmission shaft either goes into or gets attached to. What are those two parts called?

Since when were manufacturers not allowed to paint the bottom hooks? Nonsense. Not sure about regulations in The States but here in Ireland and the UK cranes do not need to be load tested every year. Once they have an original test certificate and are inspected at least every 12 months and found to be in good condition that is all that is required. Reports must be kept obviously and only if serious repairs are done does it need to be retested. Not all host units have cross travel limit switches fitted as standard especially one that looks as old as this host unit. Sometimes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing!!
Way too much work if u are in a flat rate if u work hourly or fleet it’s ok but still not 100 accurate thanks
