i just thought of another thing i want to ask....have you ever thought of doing" vids/tutorials" like other ppls ive seen where they break down the technics or essence or scales used to help someone learn how to play in the style of things like this, so that they can build on it ,but also could possibly add/blend there own twist or push the style of playing in a new direction....im only asking because thats the only deicide album where i feel they created this awsome style of playing but only gave us one album were they play this way....it fustrates me because i wanted more albums were they played as technical,but in my opinion ,they never did anything else after as impressive....its a shame...lol.

One of the most difficult things about covering songs off of this album and playing them to the original studio tracks is probably the fact that this album sounds like it was pretty much recorded "live", and so there are unintended changes in the tempo of the guitar playing throughout the guitar tracks, so that when you cover these songs you have to account for all these little fluctuations in your own playing to follow along. Also, this is just how I like my technical death metal: dirty, nasty, and fucking evil-sounding. Killer fucking covers man.

Imagine a world in which Deicide continued in this vein of diabolic technicality... I once heard someplace one of the Hoffman brothers saying that the reason Legion stands apart in this regard is because Glen Benton didn't like playing in this style, that it was too technical for him. What could have been...

I love how clear this sounds. The sharp, trebly recording in the original works amazingly well but also kinda obscures the more insanely complicated portions, such as most of this song. I mean, they're not impossible to hear, but in your cover, it's actually easier to tell what's happening with the guitars.
