I would never ever pay that for lángos. Lángos is usually ~1000-1700HUF (3-5 usd), except tourist trap places. There are nice videos recommending good lángos places that are reasonably priced and even better quality. Btw classic lángos toppings: garlic, sour cream, cheeze. Others are usually crazy overpriced and never worth, just traps.

Honestly a lot lol the prices remain similar to their over-seas counterparts, the main problem in Poland is that the pay is equal in number but not in value, so you can make up to x4 of the money you make if you did the same job in the UK for example. I dream of getting enough passive income one day to be able to go back and one day live a happy life in my beautiful Poland without having to stress too much

Well, I was born in Wrocław and living there for 25 years. I don’t know where you got that number but definitely a 2+2 family doesn’t need as much as 2k USD. Definitely less. 2k would be with renting a 50-60 m2 flat, then 2k is quite probable. Same for single person and almost 700 USD… if eating all the time outside - I would agree.

Rent and food is expensive there because people from western countries are moving their families over there for more of morals upbringing of their children... i personally know family that dud that. Their market it trying to adopt western money exchange level...

Groceries are really cheap in Migros. (Migros is from Switzerland) You also can go to Carrefour. But the employees are really rude there. (maybe not so good compensated) But in general Turkish people are really nice. (but they also sometimes are a bit moody & you can feel the jealousy/ anger sometimes) 😆 🤝 🇨🇭

Wroclaw use to be very very cheap. Now it's expensive. It's nice in Summer but in Winter it's very gray and dismal. Dark early and cold. I lived there 15 months. In Winter you drink, in Summer you are outside as much as possible. Nice city I liked it but in Winter cold and boring

Because the mayor of Budapest is in the opposition party to the Fidesz dictatorship, the federal government does not give Budapest money to keep the city clean, to clean the garbage, cut the grass and keep things nice and tidy. .Foreigners can live great over there. Hungairans cannot.

There are so many people going hungry in Hungary. The price of food is higher than in Austria and other countries. If you are a foreigner you can live great with dollars or euros. The Hungarians most of them are not doing well. Inflation is the highest in Europe and there is little freedom. The medical system is terrible so foreigners can live well, but not Hungarians.

Vage? The minimum wage for some people is even 300 EUR if you go to east of Kosice. So many of my family from there is working outside of Slovakia to make money to survive. I looked for apartments and they wanted 1000 EUR. Even to buy a bitovka in Kosice now is 80000 EUR. The food looks like gulas which is madar (Hungarian) but maybe because there was no Slovakis before 1918 for 1000 years it was Hungary I believe.

Actually The average wage in year 22 reached 1418 EUR (national average). The average in Bratislava is around 1600 euros (official data), but you need at least 2 000 eur to live and thrive in Bratislava (much better option is to work in Bratislava, but live lets say 30 miles away from capital...you save a lot money. ❤👍😉

Because house ownership in slovakia is 90% and slovakia is the most equal country in the world.

Shockingly the food in Bulgaria is more expensive than in the UK. There is no way this is justified. Also, in the past Bulgaria had produced most groceries but now almost everything is imported. Quite sad state of affairs really. The yoghurt quality is very poor and I am not sure why since this is a traditional product. I guess that's what happens when the mafia runs the so called businesses

Lodging in Sofia is astonishingly high for eastern Europe. That's what matters. Such videos, if they talk about food, can directly compare a defined bag of groceries with its equivalent in Greece, Serbia and Macedonia and maybe Germany, US, Ukraine. Telling us a mug of beer or chocolate bar is $1 really doesn't say anything. You can define a restaurant meal and compare its cost to a similar meal in Greece and Germany. Use a standard like "Happy Bar & Grill" meal which is a popular middle class restaurant chain in Bulgaria
