My son was convicted after being falsely accused. I recently received the discovery file which shows lies and false evidence by the investigator. I have verifiable evidence of lies by the accusers. Evidence of prosecutorial misconduct and false imprisonment, but can't get anyone to help or an investigative reporter to cover it. What can I do?

Never talk to the police, they are not your friends, they don't believe you, they are only after convicting you and working for the D A's office. I went through this with a woman who had over the years charged 4 other people with this, the cops had her rap sheet and KNEW she was a serial falsely accuser of sex crimes and yet they came after me. I think accurate statistics suggest it is under reported and in general women don’t lie about sexual assault because we live in a victim shaming and blaming society. Women understand they are marginalized.

It is very odd that there is no consequences for women who lie. If it is a flagrant lie - the man can prove he was somewhere else for example, clearly this lie is an assault and the woman will be charged with assault. There SHOULD be equality in CONSEQUENCES. 1st thing you should do is gather evidence after you get released from jail for your trial. When it comes and you are found not guilty then the next step is to file a civil lawsuit for slander/defamation. You should sue her for everything she's got and call for criminal charges on her for filing a false report (there should even be made a law that makes it illegal to falsely report a sexual crime and it should be a felony that results in several years in prison). This is the only way to be made whole and if anyone else spreads that lie sue them as well. Men need to start standing up to women and hold them accountable by any means necessary.
