Yes! Gunstock to Whiteface is a VERY long drive for Northeastern skiers.

At 4:45, the tram may look like it is going slow, but the line speed is faster than any 8-pack in New England.

Caberfae played it's snow-making cards well last winter, made enough early to make it through the thaws we had midwinter and stay 100%, unlike several up north that were struggling durring some of the thaws.

Lived in colorado my whole life, 23 years. I never had the opportunity to ski or ride. I don't think I will in the future.

Recently visited snow valley - can confirm there are some remains of a poma lift as well as a double chair that is in tact but overtaken by nature. there is a collapsed pump house as well as several collapsed race shacks. They used to have a t-bar that lead to the summit and the top terminal is still there and fascinating. Seems to be a caretaker on the property as there is a small cabin fully furnished. Its a really cool place and a rewarding hike to the summit!

Looks pretty fun, it’s awesome to see people still skiing even after closing day.

We live in Massachusetts and always go to JayPeak. But it is 5 hour drive plus very expensive. But 6 days a year I’m happy

If you have the money, teaching your kid snow sports is basically a must. Nothing beats the feeling on zooming down a massive mountain.

This can have more application than just skis.. Interesting..

Yep. that was me who mentioned visiting new mountains courtesy of the Indy Pass. Living in NY and with travel limited, it was awesome seeing some new places in the state: Greek Peak, plus Swain and Snow Ridge, which were unfamiliar to me previously. Very excited to think where I might get to this season.

I don't ski much but I will never buy an epic pass. Definitely considering an Indy pass next season, but I will definitely try to ski some of the mountains on the Indy pass this year

Really enjoying this one. Simon, so cool that you've skied 5 continents. And, yeah, I do like my east coast resorts for sure, but I've also taken advantage of any chance to go west, so there is that. When was that winter a few seasons ago where the east had all the snow and the west was missing out, and the VT ski resorts had lots of cars with UT and CO plates (no doubt, taking advantage of a pass, but still funny to see)? Anyway, back to listening...
