Chennai to Vellore is average road condition only bro... lots of pothole will be there... in few places new roads are there. But ok we can manage. I would recommend 80-100 km speed in this road.

Highway max I got was 21.3 mileage. I drive in 80-100 km only. And many times I use eco mode in Highway. Also, I don't drive harsh. In hills it will be less. Do visit, awesome place. No major hills in Wayanad mainly forest and awesome landscape to drive in car.

Automatic or manual bro? I have Automatic, even I had fear when I first drove in hills or at night. But after few drivings it become very easy.Try to drive multiple times then only we will over come that fear. Don't worry, you can easily do this.
