I happened to get the MB Quart ones by chance and they're kinda nuts. I mean, at least in comparison with most other speakers I've ever had. - Great range and depth and also smooth. - Just too bad that you need a quite capable amplifier for it at 4 Ohm and apparently over 100 Watts, which tend to be expensive amplifiers that I can't just blow some money on. XD - I've been using an old Denon receiver that can do 6 Ohms, but being one of those integrated AV-receivers, and a '90s one at that, it's of course not the best audio-processing.

I still use the speakers for my computer... loved this system back in the day.

Had one of these, the sound was very nice, I actually regret selling it. My controller deck developed an issue though, all the buttons often had random functions. For example touching that 4 way knob it would randomly change surround, groove, equalizer, or even change the source FM, CD, cassette. This happened with almost all the buttons. That's why after that issue developed I almost only used it with aux input and the remote.

Used to have one of those, great sound. Though I don't like the V-Groove prefer just the "normal" Groove.

I have them myself. I can only agree with Pimp Daddy. The sound quality is shockingly good. It can even reproduce deepest bass (32hz tested). The highs are super clean.

I picked up the Onkyo dx-c390 at an estate auction yesterday. Perfect condition with remote, it sounds awesome. Hut thats not all I got. On the same bulk auction I picked up a Denon avr-x1600h, Samsung blu ray, lus misc items….paid $125 for everything.

Are the replacement parts for CD lens available anywhere?

A presne do tohto zosilňovača som si dorobil oneskorený nábeh reproduktorov, lebo pri každom zapnutí v nich riadne prasklo, aj pri vypnutí, ale to nebolo až tak kritické...a mám ho dodnes a šlape slušne...s reproduktormi 1PF06767, niečo podobné ako vo videu. 🙂

I ordered one of these online from best buy just over 2 years ago for $150. For at least the past 9 months the price has gone up to $350 - same on Amazon. I wonder why. Just glad I got one when I did.
