Guys if you do decide to go angel tree shopping if you are able to I would recommend getting some wrapping paper because some of the parents can’t afford wrapping paper!

Last year was the first year that my husband and I got presents for angel tree. And we are doing it again this year. I like to add in Christmas stockings and fill them up and also add in a couple rolls of wrapping paper, bows and tape in with the gifts. Just in case they don’t have the money to buy that. I bought all that extra stuff after last Christmas for this coming Christmas at a huge discount. About 11 years ago I had to get help for my kid for Christmas and I remember I had diapers and a high chair on his list and whoever picked his tag I am so grateful for.

I almost always only go to places (like salons) where the employees are treated well. But I also need the employees caring about their work, if they don't they probably aren't being paid well.

I had a supervisor who was always on my case. She once said that liked popping her balloons. This is after I told her of a mistake that could have cost our company millions of dollars in fines. It wasn't anything she did wrong, so I wasn't questioning or blaming her. One day my company asked if I would work in another department because they were so short-staffed. I said yes immediately even though it was a demotion, I'd still make the same pay. She was kind of embarrassed how quickly I said yes. I felt generous and said that I wanted to learn new things.
