Throwback about this song early 2000's 🤦‍♀️😅 It was a YP culture back then, na nagpapasahan kami ng Christian Song sa phone. Isang song lang pwede sa phone ko noon kaya nagpapasend ako via Bluetooth weekly. Tapos there was one time, ito sinend sakin ng isang brother, who had tons of Christian Songs sa device niya. I listened to it for a week. At first, I really don't understand the message of the song since I was thinking it's about Christ, since Christian Song nga pinapasend ko. I didn't know back then, I'm kind of innocent sa love noon. I listened to it for more than a week, which is unusual kasi weekly ako nagpapabago. Weeks past, still I don't have an idea...until one time, we got in their house, a typical YP Fellowship. Then, he let us use their PC. So we browsed games, pics, music etc. Tapos, may compilation dun ng Christian Music, then may isang folder dun, Wedding Music, then I saw this album na nakafolder, and I saw this song. 😮 Then I played it again, with a "different" perspective na. The kilig is real. tbh 😅❤ Bilang isang lingkod, masarap sa pakiramdam na maligawan ng isa rin namang may puso at passionate sa paglilingkod. Don't rush and never settle for less, girls. Going back, after long rough years, it's by grace that we are now a family, a household of faith, serving the Lord together. ❤ We didn't have a perfect road but God bestowed us His mercy, forgiveness, restoration, love and amazing grace. Only by His grace ❤🙏 I pray, for this generation, to be guided by God's Word. Never in a rush, trusting God's perfect timing. ❤

My previous husband walked out and desserted our family on December 11th 2011 after causing a great deal of unnecessary stress due to his mismanagment of his mental health diagnoisis and previous childhood and adult traumas; and then on Valentines Day: February 14th 2012 served me with divorces papers after I had stayed by his side through it all and remained a "praying wife" and seeking counsel from the Elders at the church; I was devastated because I though we were true friends until he crossed a sexual boundary and pushed himself on me that resulted in an unplanned and unexpected preganancy; I went thorugh so much and was completly broken hearted and could not recover while being with him; eventually, I prayed; Lord, if you don't want him here; move him; the next day he gave our young daughter a hug, told her that he loved her and walked out the front door without saying a word to me; walked out the front door.... that was shocking and saddening to me at the same time; because I had been victimized and with no accountability or responsibility on his part. I fell into a deep depression and was loney for over fourteen years since we disconnected from emotionally and otherwise in 2010. But I didn't leave the church; continued to go to Bible Study and service and allow God to help me with my brokeness, distress, sadness, lonliness and dispair, not to mention the emotional neglect, rejection and abondonment; so the church was my lifeline, and the very connection that saved my life when I felt worthless and at a loss; they gave me back my purpose and reason to live and God slowly helped me unpack and process all the issues, learn to forgive myself for the guilt and shame I put on myself for his mistakes; healed my heart and has restored my life. It took a while because I was grieving the loss of my personal choice and all the plans I had for myself and the plans we both had for our lives before all of these things transpired and damaged our future and families forever. Thank God for mercy and grace and for forgiveness that is a choice. I eventually forgave him for hurting me so deeply and abandoning his responsiblity to me and our children indefinately and have begun to get on with my life; content with God's love; and now he is opening my heart again and I am seeing love everywhere, that I had not noticed all this time because my heart was so broken and damaged, that I closed the door to the idea of a healthy and safe love, as as to not have any more damage done to me and my children. Now I have learned about creating healtier and firmer boundaries, how to recognize red flags and irregularities and how to meet my own emotional needs and not be dependent on any many to fill and complete me and how not to make an idol out of anyone; not even in pain, sadness and unforgivenss; and how to move on with my life, content in the knowledge of Christ and satisfied with the love of God, my Lord and Saviour. I am truly thankful and greatful for the promisses of God that are true: and are yes and amen. Thank you for making this beautiful music and inspiring hope, peace, love, forgiveness, loyalty, faithfulness, truth and commitment again for those who have lost their way ...

The title of this song is on my baby's headstone. This song was playing in my hospital room on a radio station when they wheeled our baby girl into the room with wires on her. She had an infection and was to be life-flighted to another hospital. She died before that happened. She has been with our Savior now for 30 years. This song means so much to us.. it gave me strength to continue on and serve the Lord no matter what he allows in my life, he loves and cares for me still. And I am reminded that God had a purpose for her short life and uses us to encourager others who are hurting.
