Lou keeps saying in interviews that "That Was Yesterday" was the first single. It wasn't. It was the second single. "I Want To Know What Love is" was the first single, and it came out at the end of 1984. Anyway, The minute I first heard "Feels Like The First Time" on Casey Kasem's American Top 40 in mid-1977, I was a fan.

I'd love to see Lou become the new coach on The Voice, replacing Blake Shelton who announced he's leaving the show after this season. Lou would make a fantastic mentor to those young aspiring singers competing on the show.

At the end of 1985, the first time I heard this song "I want to know what love is "in Indonesia, at that time I was still in high school, and the song was so memorable with Lou Gramm's distinctive voice, until now this song is still often played by my son and apparently he also love it,, Lou Gramm is a legend, humble ..thanks Lou and GBU

Surgery for an almost fatal brain tumour that left him with many health issues, including the weight gain (pituitary gland damage) plus a long time on steroids. He has worked very hard to recover and has lost a massive amount of weight since the years after surgery. I find his uncomplaining courage and tenacity an inspiration.

At 14 I was fortunate to see Foreigner Twice at Cleveland Stadium on that first Album tour. The original lineup was magic. Lou was one of my favorites lead vocalist. Journey was on that bill with the Infinity Album getting airplay.

He's soo humble & seems quiet and shy until he sings. One of those vocalists that sings from his heart.. He has such feeling behind that voice. Can tell he's a sensitive soul. Love him. Thank god I discovered Foreigner in 1998 when I was 18 and when I bought their stuff every song is just class. x

Lou as a rock singer was a hero for me in my youth, he always gave 100 %, his voice was phenomenal and full of deep emotion. When I heard of his severe health problems in the late 90s, I was totally shocked and very sad. When he recovered, I was so happy for him and about the fact he has survived. He is such a nice human being and I wish him only the best for the rest of his life.

I saw Foreigner in the mid-90s after Lou Gramm re-joined the band and after his brain tumor was removed. He was on steroids and forgot the lyrics at times, and stumbled on stage, but he powered through it.

Yea he was a singer thirty to forty years ago (I wasn't born) he hasn't been singing anymore which I think is good. I don't like how Foreigner has turned out so far, I think Lou Gramm over here has set the standards straight over his younger days active in the band, and the readjustments in the present foreigner are obviously not working out, I think its a good idea that the band just comes to an end overall, not the mention what we're going through right now as a nation.
