I really tried, lost it at Tuba or not Tuba
Well done. Inspirational! I would say that one of his protege's Steven Spielberg matched him in Raiders of the Lost Ark. At least for the genre. ❤
This scene traumatized me when i was like 8.
Haha!!!! remember this when it came out..........Hilarious!
The genius of undercover cops posing as locksmiths beginning with busting the window to enter the closed locksmith shop… 😂
I've been a Kubrick fan for many many years and it's great to hear the words from his mouth as opposed to others describing him in their words. He really was the best director ever!
1:55 the CLUB Flamingo sign 😂 omg these geniuses 🎉 🎊🥇💯
ewwwwe soo thilly. Love it
What movie is the last clip from?
“ My daughters a needle in a haystack “ “ That’s not true, I’ve seen a picture of her she’s very attractive “ 🤣
Maybe a little thin.
He was a reality artist. He knew what films to make. He did it on his own. He focused on human emotions. He was a True artist.
I just realized that Eugene was the first person to get lost in the Backrooms!
I'm proud of Guy Woodhouse.
This is really, really good. You get some understanding. Thanks to who put it together.
Don't feel bad that he is gone, he knew Eyes Wide Shut may have been his last
20 meg hard drive! BALLER!
now i know what stanleys opinions about programing IBM PC's and lotus 123. sounds like my kind of guy
❤
What's that book?
Why was he trying to learn coding
I bought this box set on DVD and can only watch in small doses - joke OD! 🤣
thanks for the upload had this stuck in my head
He was Mr. Bean before Mr. Bean!
Kubrick gives me big Larry David vibes lol
You can take a genius out of the Bronx but you can't take the Bronx out of a genius.
How
One of the greatest parodists of all time. PS It's Miklós Molnar. The "s" at the end of a syllable is pronounced like a short English "sh".
He does own a piece of every boxer.
Seemingly Paulie from The Sopranos is in this scene but don't spot him.
Came back to this scene to check as well, I’m pretty he’s the guy sitting to the left of Frank. The big issue is he’s facing away from the camera almost the entire scene, but im confident its none of the others
Hope more people see this. Great stuff.
Give us a break with Kubrick.. He did 10 movies.. there's other directors
It is pronounced that you are not somebody who would concede to the theory of quality over quantity. Don’t tell us to give you a break when it is you that is here of your own volition, commenting under this video of Stanley Kubrick. You miss the point unreservedly of why Kubrick is important and why it is good to study his work. His entire life’s work encompasses not just his released films - research the Stanley Kubrick Archive, devour the Taschen book, watch Jon Ronson’s documentary ‘Stanley Kubrick’s Boxes’, read ‘Waiting for a miracle: a survey of Stanley Kubrick’s unrealized projects’ by Filippo Ulivieri. Thank you and regards.
And those 10 movies will be remembered forever unlike these garbage Marvel flicks you probably love. Art will always be remembered.
He made 13 really.
Everyone would love to be half as good as Kubrick
wow, you failed on your ass with this.
💯🔥
20MB hard drive. 13:30 20MB....
One of the greatest video games of all time (A Link to the Past) is 1MB in size, and it was designed at the time for players to get stuck in it for a year. We got away from our confines and lost creativity.
The glove compartment! :D
This is one of my favourite scenes. The whole series is brilliant of course.
why some videos yt dont put cc?
"This guy's more trouble than he's worth. I want him knocked off!" Always wondered if he was talking about Drebin or the doof in the yellow jacket!
Nostalgia,,,Lo adoravo da bambino ❤ che personaggi, in Italia si chiamava" time-out"
"Ranting"??
"Ed and I drove around for hours for no particular reason!".
🤣
He doesnt seem like an "avante garde" story teller type of director, but much more a super technical guy who knew how to produce very good films.
he was something in between.
He wasn't an arthouse director. He was making films for the general audience.
'No dice!' 😅🤣
An awesome scene I remember as a kid in the 80s
Give me more videos like this UA-cam algorithm
Stanley sounds to me like he wouldve been the kid standing unassumingly in the corner at a party who turns out to be the coolest person there. He sounds like he was just an affable nerdy guy with a ton of weird interests who loved to talk about interesting shit to anyone who would listen. His reputation is clearly all wrong.
That’s because Kubrick was as interested in questions as he was answers. It’s boring to talk to someone spewing answers for all types of things
@@phillipecethe most interesting questions don’t have answers. Instead they lead to more questions.
fucking astounding from the voi ..i remember hearing this from him like it was yesterday
goodyear you got the blimp too lol 😄😄
Good memories 😊
1:10 "useful" 2:35 "authority" 2:55 "explain"
?
We got this town sewn up tighter than a floozy's skirt!
11:18 -12:34 - Originally two "clues" used on "TAKE A GOOD LOOK".
Roman Polanski was a superior director, that’s why John disliked him..
Love these clips but who was Macdonald Cassavetes to John? He looks very like John but I can’t find any reference to a brother of that name.
