Mix Veg Kabab Recipe By Food Bite
Welcome to this easy and delicious Mix Veg Kabab Recipe! In this video, we'll show you how to prepare flavorful and crispy mix veg kababs using simple ingredients. Ingredients:
Oil: 2-3 tablespoons
Red Carrots (cubed): 1 small
Phool Gobi (cauliflower): 1/2 cup
Matar (green peas): 1/2 cup
Onion (chopped): 1 small
Shimla Mirch (capsicum, chopped): 1/4 cup
Green Chilies (chopped): 3-4
Chaat Masala: 1/2 tablespoon
Crushed Cumin: 1 tablespoon
Salt: As needed
Maida (all-purpose flour): 3 tablespoons
Corn Flour: 3 tablespoons
Water: 1/4 cup or as needed
Potatoes (boiled and mashed): 3 medium
Turmeric Powder: 1/2 tablespoon
Coriander Powder: 1.5 tablespoons
Red Chili Powder: 1 tablespoon
Bread Crumbs: As required
Oil for Frying
Procedure:
Step 1: Stir-Fry Vegetables
Heat 2-3 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
Add red carrots, phool gobi, matar, onion, and shimla mirch. Stir for 1-2 minutes.
Add chopped green chilies, chaat masala, and crushed cumin. Stir fry until the vegetables soften.
Remove the vegetables from the pan and let them cool.
Step 2: Prepare the Batter
In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of maida, 3 tablespoons of corn flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 cup water (adjust for a thin consistency).
Stir well until you get a smooth batter.
Step 3: Prepare the Kabab Mixture
In a mixing bowl, combine mashed potatoes with the cooled fried vegetables.
Add 1 tablespoon salt, 2 tablespoons maida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chili powder.
Mix thoroughly to form a soft, even mixture.
Step 4: Shape the Kababs
Take small portions of the mixture and shape them into cutlets or patties.
Dip each cutlet in the prepared batter, ensuring it's coated evenly.
Roll the cutlet in bread crumbs for a crispy outer layer.
Step 5: Fry the Kababs
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add the kababs and fry on medium heat until golden brown on both sides.
Remove the kababs from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
