where did you get the switch lights they look great

The cool operators manual is nothing new! Been done 25+ years ago by S Helper Service with their S scale locos, they were also 1st with factory Dcc/sound! Nice looking, running and sounding model! (Dave).

I got good results with BullFrogSnot by applying it with an artist’s paint brush, with the bristles oriented to the direction of travel (wheels turning very slowly) & no water involved. It produced little groves around the wheel & when it dried, the traction results were excellent.

I find with any smoke fluid that if one shakes the fluid before adding to loco that one will get denser smoke. Neil

Just saw why it derailed. LOL! The kink on the curve to the switch is so bad. I'd recommend when fixing it, take the curved track off and while the track is still straight solder the joint as it will then give a proper curve transition which will eliminate kinks from forming. plus the solder on that second switch joint is way too thick and should only be placed on the outside of the rails not the inside too.

So far the sound is way better and improved since the Paragon 3 sounds.

I recently got the 759 I managed to add 3 ounces of weight in the boiler using soft fishing weight putty and wheel stick on weights i will do a video and show how it looks soon. It ran great pulling 7 walther s heavy weight pullman passenger cars.im still going to put bull frog snot for extra traction.

Sounds like you have the same problem with their shay as I do.

I would have NO need for a sound on caboose. Seems just another controller to jostle around. What would come next, freight cars with brake squeals and noisy triple valves? Air pops when uncoupled? Flange squeals on sharp curves? Let's get magnetic attraction on air hoses, and MU hoses!

Im in O-Scale, but this was fun to watch. The BLI stuff has me tempted to try getting into a little HO territory.

Hi I have one. Its programmed not to move when sound is on unless you have all engines running. In my case (gaugemaster prodigy) thats F1 & F3. It does get better with more running in . I want the cab lights on when running so I will get that re mapped if possible.

I Love that whistle, let it on the UP 844 sounds more realistic 😍 on my channel you can see the same model from märklin but the smokebox colour is brighter and other sound which isn’t that good. Love this video ☺️

Damn, I wish people would use a tripod when videoing things like this. Find an angle, set up the pod, and then video so that there isn't movement all of the time.

I don't know if it's the camera, but the passengers must need a lot of sunscreen. One reason I don't have lights in my cars, kits I've seen in my club the LEDs are too bright. About the weight issue - what's inside that part of the engine? Can a weight be added there? Can you CA some #9 lead bird shot in the truck? Past tricks I've done to IHC engines that worked. But an informative video.

Try adding some weight. I had same problem with a IHC Pacific, patiently added #9 lead bird shot with CA glue in every hidden nook & cranny, even carefully R/R'd domes filled with shot, found a very close paint match & painted the lead shot. Engine performs better immediately! This was before Bullfrog Snot. When I 1st tried this stuff, this same engine got the treatment. Before Snot drivers still slipped uphill (3% grade), however with Snot on 2 drivers no more slipping! Then added tender power pickup since drivers were the only power pickup for the engine. 10 heavyweight coaches, up a 3% grade, no wheel slippage, priceless!

I got the unlettered yellow version a couple weeks back. I agree it's quite nice! I haven't figured out how to change the light configuration though. The pamphlet claims there are 15 settings for the lights but I haven't found what the cv number is.

May I suggest maybe have a moving camera man? I've been down during and open house and I feel like you are leaving out so much of the great detail in your layout. Maybe follow a train through the layout I would love to see that! Anyways this place is great I just wish everyone could see it like I did in person!

Nice! I am now thinking this is HO-Scale. Where are you located, Looks like a very nice train club. I am out of Vincennes Indiana sadly no clubs around here. I am flying solo now. My old train partner passed away so I am now on my own. Plan on going to my first Trainfest later this year. I usually go to the Indianapolis and Dayton Ohio train shows. Keep up the excellent work.
