In my case I am using an apple TV box. Is this setting on the router, the TV, The apple TV box, on my computer or IN the movie? I can find no such setting ANYWHERE.

I don't have that settings option. How do you get to it?

I cant thank you enough brother. I was going crazy trying to turn it off. I checked my tv settings but it was off. Turning off that 5.1 did it in UA-cam .. Im glad you posted this. Thanks again.

Thank you for posting this! I have 5.1 surround on but under audio tracks, it only offers me English descriptive and Spanish original. It won't let me deselect English descriptive. Has anyone here run into this issue? Any leads?

I came to this video to try to turn off the UA-cam audio description on my phone but clearly the settings on this TV has nothing to do with the UA-cam app itself. WTF!

I don't see 5.1 surround as any option on my device at all 😢

*For people on android goto phone settings > apps > youtube > 3 dots in top right > uninstall updates. After this goto google play, reinstall the updates and you should be good to go.* 👍🏻
