Rainbow Banquet Music Compilation
Переглядів 452 роки тому
I put together an entertainment program for a banquet, and this is the highlights from the full 45 minute program. The theme was "music through the years" so there was alternating song and dance from each decade starting in the 1920's. The dancers are from Two Left Feet studio in Albuquerque.

Reusable Cloth Facemask With Filter - Sewing Tutorial
Переглядів 4294 роки тому
From Dr. H. Margaret MD, who created the design: Why I like it: - made from a single piece of cloth - easily cut as a 12 inch square - no seams needing clipped or pressed during construction - no tricky steps requiring multiple clips or pins, curves or pleats. - very forgiving for the novice at sewing, will still work even if it is not perfectly perfect - stays on for short trips without even n...

The performance is great!
This song was made in kfc😦
0:20 Blow, blow, thou winter wind, Thou art not so unkind As man’s ingratitude; Thy tooth is not so keen, Because thou art not seen, Although thy breath be rude. Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly: Most friendship is feigning, most loving mere folly: Then, heigh-ho, the holly! This life is most jolly. Freeze, freeze, thou bitter sky, That dost not bite so nigh As benefits forgot: Though thou the waters warp, Thy sting is not so sharp As friend remembered not. Heigh-ho! sing, heigh-ho! unto the green holly...
Nice play

Excellent explanation. Thank you for my colorful mask!
Great video!
Lol! I know the guy in the bright green shirt!! He is pretty wyrd!!😂😂😂
Loved it! Wish I had the guts to record my cover! :)
Hey thanks! And you should go for it, it's so much fun
Haha yeah it is probably more fun when you and your partner get along...
I did this piece with a guy on my team and we sucked and I ended up hating him. Ahh memories. :)
doing this piece for competition in 4 weeks. you guys did great and gave us some great ideas for ours. thanks!! :)
You know, in middle school speech, two girls did this script and finaled in state.
@Zequest1 Thanks! I don't think my partner and I have any plans for competing again though. Still, I would love to see your performance, or "interpretation" if you will :) I agree that it is always fun to see different versions of the same script. I think we did pretty well for our first year, but there is always room for new ideas!
You guys did good, different from the technique/blocking and characterization my partner and I did, we did duo and got far with it, if you ever need help id be glad to assist. Ps I'll also post a video of my partner and I doing this duo, its always fun to compare and contrast different forms of the same scripts people do
@juani19880 I wasn't singing to you, you know...
@th3b0r3d11 Try not to worry about it too much. Stay focused, but being too tense will hurt your performance. Having the piece memorized helps with this. Practice the piece in the mirror, and out in the hall before you go in to the round. The first time I competed there were a few glitches, but if you pay attention and know the piece you will do fine. Remember that each bit is a different character, the more you can play that up the cooler it will look. Hope this helps, and good luck!
@qpease Thanks! The original was good, but if ever there was a song for the ukulele, this is it. :)
Dude, that was way better than the original!
@immnony Ah, yes, another piece with a lot of potential. Some friends of mine did that one, and I helped them choreograph their fight scene. Have fun! (especially with memorizing the names of the stares 0o)
@immnony Thanks! Yeah, I can see how that might be awkward... I have seen it done though, and it made certain bits even funnier, especially the end. Good luck, whatever you do.
@ksavage9 Cool! Go for it!
@bearschacht Thanks! :) We decided we're cutting out the Vlaudiville (spelling?) its just sorta.....odd for us...you know? Anyway, thanks! :O)
@zebamarie Yes, this was high school. We considered cutting some stuff, but after we got the piece down we realized we didn't need too. With an 8 minute time limit though, something would have to go. I would suggest cutting the bit you are least comfortable with, but it would not be a bad idea to get a second opinion from friends/family as to which part should go. I had thought of cutting the last bit, but that turned out to be the one that got the most laughs.
@bearschacht Thanks! Unfortunatley our time limit it 8 minutes so we will have to cut some part out :(. but hopefully it will stil be amazing as yours! This was the high school division right? I am currently in the middle school division.
@zebamarie Thanks! I can't tell you how much fun we had preforming this piece, and I hope you have fun too. Good luck!
Awesome! I'm doing this piece as well! You guys were amazing!
That was definitely an awesome duo. :D
