❤❤❤hello from Canada. I learned poi from a young hippie witch named Heather. Since she taught me I've learned lots about poi. This looks so fun and sounds so beautiful. I hope someday I can travel to see Maori peoples. I only have raver poi, not proper traditional poi. I know I'm culturally 😢 I don't take $ for performing it. ..unless it's freakshow then it doesn't count cause im blindfolded. Idk does it? Anyways this looks super joyful and I love it.
Wow thats nuts thanks for sharing the epic moment
Thanks for posting this😢😢😊
Awesome 👌 👏
How does this only have 2k views. Yeah I hope they do more new songs together 🧡
I've seen this show two times from Los Angeles California I miss this show I wish I can see it one last time here in Arizona with my con family
They need to play together more...
Really?? 🫣🥳😁🤣🥰🔥
Wow! Lucky! Thank you so much for recording this, and sharing it. Nobody does it quite like they do & I love how Aldous took the end part here. One of the best songs ever written imo, I wish more musicians would cover it.
I love this. It's as beautiful as music can be. ❤️
Beautiful. Dig Lorde. LOVE Marlon.. this is ka pai indeed. Thanks for sharing.
😍Love you Marlon
yes! this was recent? love this song ❤
Yes, it was last month in Christchurch. Incredible experience
wow. amazing ❤❤❤
Round Two ? They are back together? That would be awesome at least from a music perspective. I really love the music they did when they were a couple.
Oh no, It was a back to back concert I went to. Aldous made a special appearance on the 2nd night.
Effing amazing
Isn't it strange, impossible to claim your reward I cannot explain, emotions I can barely afford to contain You're the same, you hide away from anything that turns you on Nobody gets what they want anymore No words only scream, could possibly protect you, you know what it means Two is the charm, a place therein around us and pray and pray And saying the name there is no blame, there is no shame, and even more Nobody gets what they want anymore Nobody gets what they want anymore Again, again I know the shame I've waste it all on someone else's time Nobody gets what they want anymore Nobody gets what they want anymore Nobody gets what they want anymore Nobody gets what they want anymore What am I going to do when you're in trouble And you don't call out for me? What am I going to do when I can see that you've been crying And you don't want no help from me? Baby, I can't separate us out anymore Baby, I can't separate us out anymore Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Marlon Timotei Williams
Wow!! I'm going to share those words. How incredible Thanks j
Where was that Janine? Lovely
Hi Jane, it happened at Marlon's concert in Christchurch City New Zealand last night (27th Jan 2023) The whole room swooned
@@Heartfeltnz wow, thank you 😊
I’ve seen this at Madison Square Garden in New York back in the Summer of 2008.
Shuuurt, now theres a waiata I haven't heard since performing it with Turanga Tane back in the early 90's
Absolutely phenomenal. Thanks for posting this film. I live in Wales, U.K. and am reading Maori folklore; mainly because it connects genetically with my own ancient people: the southern-Welsh Silures. This area was inhabited by a warrior-like people who fought with no surrender. Culture is so important to my sense of TRUE IDENTITY and by that, I'm referring neither to gender politics, nor any other top layering of arm-twisting forced identity. Freedom of speech should allow each individual the freedom of their own thoughts, in line Laws, etc. This film is a beautiful, special, original message of culture that's being offered :-) .. No other agenda than celebration of the land and being very much alive within it.
the feeeels I miss this show
808natee Well I have 2 DVD copies of the behind the scenes of this. 1 for watching & the other as an Insurance, Just Incase. I just can’t take any chances of what could possibly happen.
Why am I obsessed with this video
my favorite dino!
That was awesome!
awww, very nice...
Does anybody know the name of the song?
Ada De Hoyos The song is called Korimako and tells the story of a magical bellbird. When he sang, crops would grow
Can anyone tell me the tittle of the song?
We have no legitimate full 100% maori blood left, I don't think. From what I know, the last full maori died in the 1930s :( Maori culture will never die though <3 <3
whats the naame of the song?
i may not be full maori but im half and im so proud to be apart of the maori culture :) best performance i have ever experienced.....AMAZING performance :) :) :)
In terms of culture, I'm beginning to think less geographically and much more culturally. You're so, so right to follow your roots and be your whole self. I salute you, and can't apologise enough for my terrible British ancestors. I'm sorry for what they did to your people .. genuinely so.
I'd love to know what song they're singing
I love my Maori culture
ataahua!!
awesome!!
cool!
wow the music is beautiful! I didn't expect it to be so joyful and lively :D
aahh yes....proud to be maori!!
