This band has been my primary source of music for almost 2 years now. This one I actually only really started to like within the last couple of months. I don't know what took me so long though. I understand that this specific sound isn't for everyone but you have to admit that there is some very real talent here on all fronts. Such an incredible 44 minutes worth of music. The lyrics on this album really make me think

Crumbling castle is fantastic. One of the best surprises I ever found at the cassette store.

Damn there is a lot to unpack listening to this album. I am on my first listen through and wow so many layers.

Simply put, the music of King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard is the most perfect weed music you will find in this universe!

The 3 track run of inner cell, loyalty and horology is one of my favourite stretches on any album. Just mesmerizing.

I avoided Gizz like the plague because all I ever saw was people hyping them to the moon and beyond, made me think they were the most pretentious thing ever made. Well curiousity got the better of me and yeah, this is pretty good.

No doubt one of the best live albums of all time.

they are pretty good and i like the style but gawd damn do all the tracks sound the same. seeing them perform at the masonic theater felt like that too.

I see them as being the musical offspring of Frank Zappa, The Beatles, and Middle Eastern Music, specifically Turkish music. Didn't know much about them, and looked them up, and lo! I was right about the Zappa, Beatles and Turkish part!
