Those with E-Bikes are NOT pedaling. This is not true bicycling, or (tricycling as the case may be.) Get out there and exercise.

Did it ever occur to you that some people are disabled? Not enough yet to use a wheelchair, but in ways that make it difficult to put force through one's knees, etc? Quit being the cycling police and let people enjoy life. At least they're not creating pollution and clogging up streets driving a car.

I don't have a Facebook account either! I mainly rely on word of mouth. As the name says, most rides are "impromptu." There isn't much notice or planning. Sorry!
Highest mileage of paved bicycle trails in all areas of America is in SW Ohio! They are also very, very beautiful!
I hope to encourage folks to try new trails. So little time, so many trails! Go ride!

That was the first time we rode the whole length of the trail. It is a marvel of bridges, boardwalks, underpasses, and a lot of wooded areas

Absolutely love that Raven trike! Most suspension (tires) directly beneath rider's torso. That leaning/steering mechanism is both beautiful AND very practical too!

What kind of trikes do you ride? And how do you transport them to all of these places?
2014 and 2016 Terratrike Ramblers, purchased used in 2020, modified with e-assist, fatter tires, and internally geared rear hub. Transported in a Toyota Sienna.
How was the ride in Alexandria without the protected bike trail? Is it doable for beginners?
Old Alexandria requires great care! Most drivers were courteous. No trail signage to speak of.
You could have put some info about the trikes in the notes.
We do trails, not trikes! We ride old, used trikes modified with e-assist, fat tires and internally geared hubs for crushed stone trails. Bentrideronline.com has a lot of folks eager to share their opinions.
