Matt Keating - "Maybe He'll Meet You" Slide Show
Hey Lav. Forgot to mention how good the guitar playing is on this song. Hope you’re well.
I met Danny in the village NYC in 1976. We hung out before he played a gig. He was a real good person. I got him a job at a coffee house in Chester NJ. We became good friends around the time his mom passed. A true bluesman & great guitarist.
In the 1950s and early 1960s I grew up Directly across the street from Danny Kalb, whose family lived at 55 Ellwood Ave., Mount Vernon, NY on the top floor. Their apartment had an outdoor roof garden fenced in bamboo. I used to deliver The Daily Argus to them. Would visit them weekly. I lived across the street at 41 Ehrbar Avenue, at an apartment complex called Bailey Gardens, so named because it was built on the land of the old Bailey Estate, the Bailey of Barnum and Bailey fame. So sorry to hear that Danny Kalb is gone.
I found Laverack when I saw the film Wendigo (which I also liked a lot), and I have most if not all of his and Just Desserts' CDs. I'm happy to learn he is still making terrific music.
I like his melancholic voice, and this song.
Beautiful nostalgic song. I found out tom laverack because of the movie Habit.
Hey Lav. Just love this song!
Larry is so sexy
Heard this on Depraved and it is beautiful.
RIP Danny. I'm sure the angels are enjoying your music
rip danny xo
Amazing
what an absolutely beautiful song, with an amazing classic voice . thank you
Great!
I love you Neshama!
YESSSS!!!!
Shalom and Blessing from Holland.
I LOVE THIS VIDEO!
Yes girl! Go ahead!!
Neshama Carlebach, once so radiant and wise, now a lost weak empty adolescent and ugly, she should leave her husband (mekach tarot no Get needed) become a teacher of Tanach in a Chiluni Kibbutz with a new name no longer Neshama Carlebach and visit a dati girls dormitory Yeshiva every other Shabbos. Become friends with Slovie Jungreis daughter of Esther Jungreis. Say this with pain but had to say it.
I first saw Danny playing in the spring of '62 in the lefty Mecca of UW in Madison, Wisconsin. This was the heyday of the folk scene and it was instantly obvious he was a major blues talent.
I took him to a band gig audition back then. He finger-picked "Blue Suede Shoes" and blew the auditioner away.
@@generankin7697 RIP Danny Kalb. 11/21/22
Blasphemy! Imodesty! No sanctification of His Name here! Nothing more than a mere Pop Fest! Shame! Shame!! Shame on you!!!

In the 70's Danny and I lived in the same apartment building. We would get together often and play guitar. So glad to see Danny's still playing music. I've played that beautiful old Gibson and it and Danny are still sounding great.

This song is awesome!!
Where are the Green Pasture Baptist church choir from?
It's Great Barrington, not Pittsfield. I'm in the audience.
I have always appreciated your music and guitar style. Solid music with real feeling, keep it up!
I found this song,at the end of one of the episodes of 'Srugim',which I watched on a DVD,which I found in a box, left on a street. I had no idea what 'Srugim' was before that, and had never heard this song. I am so glad I found this song,on that DVD,in that box... I think we'll have to learn this song at our church.
Beautiful!
One very underrated player. At his best he really was up there with Buchanan and Rory Gallagher. Pity he never got the recognition.
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Tom, Thanks brother. A nice peeling song with yellow video shot from the windows of a train. It is one to remember. --Alex

Most of our students at AMB play the ukulele so this song is super cute for them to learn! Thanks for making happy music for us to enjoy!
So smooth, uplifting and inspiring! We love it! Blessing has a wonderful aura about him.
A really passionate love song to God and spirituality- I thought it was extraordinary- I was very moved. Our late rabbi used to have this sung during the High Holidays by our cantor
