Good is good and evil is bad, this is so simple, why try to distort it based on some game? If you kill a million people to achieve YOUR OWN purpose that you think is good, is that good? Was Hitler good? He wanted good for his people. Don't be a fool. In the game, Lilith is treacherous, cunning, she only looks out for herself and her needs, she will kill anyone who stands in her way or worse. More and more I see how people blur a very clear line between good and bad, I repeat, don't be stupid.

Is Diablo 4 is anything like Diablo III it'll be a great game after about 7 years of fixing it. I would call Diablo 3 a great Diablo game but it is a fun action RPG.

Diablo 4 is essentially Diablo 3 2.0. We waited all these years for Diablo IV after the shitstorm that was Diablo 3 only for the same shitstorm to blow back in Bullshit Harbor. ⚓

I used to play up until wrath/ cataclysm; then I just picked it back up. Tried to play retail and it was not even fun, it’s not challenging to level and nothing feels earned. Playing classic and it feels so much more rewarding to put in time to level and explore. I’m not really concerned about end game content, but rather just enjoying the game from jump; I can definitely say classic is better for the full game experience imo

What drove me mad was in Caldeum, you hear some demons praising Mephisto (not Lilith). You take the blessing of the Prime Evils. Side with Mephisto who says he'll destroy you later... It's weird to make a deal with someone who wants to destroy you to stop someone who says they want to help you... especially when you know that is what each of them tried historically...

Thank you for making this. I was so frustrated that most fans could not see these points! It reminds me too much of the misunderstandings that cause people to fight in real life. Preconceived notions of who is good and bad based on what is familiar. Actually made it tough for me to replay the game 😅 Good writing by them and your video!

Lilith is the daughter of hatred, her nature is to hate second to her father's. Lilith is the mother of humanity, but she's incapable of love, in fact, I would argue the concept of love is something that it's completely out of the charts even for the angels, Inarius was a broken angel and saw the humanity as an abomination, and a tool for his selfish purposes, we can see Lilith the same, she didn't love the humanity, she saw it as her property and as a tool to claim the powers of the prime evils to herself. We can safely assume she wanted to use humanity in the future not just to conquer the powers of hell but also the heavens. Imagine a future where humanity would not be destroyed by hell, but assimilated with it, humans would be another variation of demons and eventually would be irremediately used by Lilith to fight against the High Heavens, which now would seem humanity as enemies. It is bad enough humanity has to fight one faction (Burning Hells) to now has to fight two.

I didn't see Lilith as nearly as threatening as the prime evils honestly although i dont completely agree with what she is doing but she is definitely better than being manipulated by Mephisto and giving him and his idiot brothers a chance of coming back again, keep them outnof the picture then deal with Lilith as necessary

Dont like how devs handle both Lilith and Inarius. I think the gates of hell and demons sealed off but her. Giving us different enemies to fight as she creates her own cult/nation that leads to create a new race and inarius to counter her create a more light base race. I personally think Lilith people turn demonkin and light more elf like maybe with the ability to hover.

Idk... maybe the whole point of the story was that humanity doesnt really want to be saved, Lilith goes against everything we believe and no matter how right she was, us opposing her was only natural considering how the heavens and hell have mani0ulated sanctuary (especially Inarius)

She did do stuff wrong, but her goals were at least partly what she used to justify it. Evil with a cause is still evil and she has an influence that causes people to choose evil actions even if she is attempting to help them. Imagine having an entity that just from its existence within a certain distance of someone it swayed their thoughts towards attacking their neighbors. Now Imagine that thing tells someone that their neighbor has been lying about something. That person is already primed to attack and they just got a good justification in their eyes so they act on it what will happen? While this is highly subjective if the exact same influence is affecting almost everyone in the area already it only really takes a single domino to start the cascade into violence. This said Lilith isn't evil by choice and isn't directly causing harm but she is still harming people.

You forgot some key part, Lilith does love her creation this we can't doubt but there are so many key dialogues not stated but she wants to consume the primordials to gain access to their power for this we don't know why but in the end humanity is a pawn for Lilith bigger plan. Their relationship with sanctuary is a contrast showing there is good within bad and bad within good.

She could only help in a way a demon could and that would only end very bad. Like Japanese law enforcement used to make deals with yakuza. When the full war started, fighting it "her way" would definitely leave us the worse for it. Souls stones jammed into children would just be the start. Imagine if she gave every demon that turned against hell a child host for the deal? No boundaries for her.

The oldest and in some sense the truest story of them all. Part of growing and maturing intothe adults is rejecting your parents and diasgreeing with them, almost on principle, only to later realize they were right and had the bestintentions for us all along. Only once you realize it and understand how you hurt them as a mouthy teenager, do you trully become an adult.

Lilith was awesome and a good character. I don't think she did anything wrong either. I thought it was a bit weird the character trusts Mephisto over Lilith.

I so, so, SO hope that Lilith returns in Diablo 4 eventually. She's the best character in it.

It really goes to show that the player character is just simply human. Humans make lots of mistakes. The Druids, Barbs, Sorcs, etc, are so blindly committed to their cause that it doesn't allow them to see the gray in who Lilith is, only the black and white (she is a demon).

I very much doubt Lillith is dead. Notwithstanding the fact top end Demons in Diablo don't stay dead, let's keep in mind what she faced. A human. NOT a Nephelim. Not only that, a human with relatively crappy gear, no idea of WTF they're doing, or what's going on, who is led by a drunk has-been, a braggart who's greatest feat in life is to lie, and a girl who screws things up. Our D3 Characters would have them for a light snack on the way to an actual challenge. And yet we're supposed to believe this under-skilled, witless, under-geared idiot who is led by idiots somehow kills Lillith? Seriously?

awesome video! The only part that was wrong was the church. Lillith has the power of persuasion and corruption which she did use in the church but never used it again.
