Do not get a Cayenne. Unbelievable. This isn’t the Porsche that I expected. Is this really high end car brand ?

Is this really how Porsche works?? What is wrong with them? That crazy sounds never gone. Very annoying. Getting sick of it. What kinda car make this noise when stop and release the brake?

I fixed mine. I just boost up my music volume. It wont annoy me anymore.
I have the same problem with my Hyundai Ionic but the call dealer which are Hyundai certified said that it's normal for automatic cars to sound like that. To their defence, my boss's car also sounds like that but that piece of shit is old and busted.
New brake pads and rotors not bedded together so there is uneven binding of the pad and rotor creating the groaning or chattering sound. Once properly bedded the noise should go away. After putting about 500 miles of normal driving, Safely perform 4 to 5 hard stops from 50 mph to 10 mph do not come to a complete stop or the pad and rotor heat will stick the pad to the rotor and possibly warp that spot. after the last braking drive around to allow the rotors to cool.
This is normal operation of the braking system because what you’re doing is lightly letting off the brake to the point where the pads are just barely making contact with the rotor which creates that noise, this is not a defect or fault in any way.
Ok. Also it makes noise right at the moment when the pads hold rotors and release it. Which means when I push the brake and lift up my foot from the pedal with normal speed without find the noise contact point. I c what u mean but my my other cars not like that. 2023 Range rover sports and 2023 mini jcw with brembo brake. Also previous my bimmers were not like that too.
Rubbish. If were true every car would make that sound.
I also replaced all the parts, but the CREEP GROAN noise remains

듣기로 브레이크 소음이 포르쉐의 전형적인 문제인가 보더라고요. 제가 다른 차들도 타보니 정도의 차이는 있는 것 같았어요. 물론 거의 없는 차도 있었고요. 저는 레몬법 신청해서 승소했습니다. 곧 제 차를 포르쉐에서 다시 가져간답니다.

my brand new toyota venza is having the same noise when let go the brake slightly after full stop. its driving me crazy !!! the service people said its normal i just dont believe this is normal at all !! If anyone knows the solution, plz share thx ! n this car is 100% made in japan i guess they make shitty car toooo !
Make sure have a maintenance at the dealership. Keep complaining and ask them fix it. I can get you my lemon law attorney email address.

They tried but they couldn’t. But my maintenance time and issue was enough to apply lemon law. So make sure bring the car to dealership and try to fix it. Time that they keep ur car to fix it and how many times with same issue is the deal of the lemon law.

사실상 brake creep groan은 어떤차량이던 다 나는것 같기는 합니다... 피할수가 없는것 같아요 브레이크 패드를 세라믹계열의 논 메탈릭 패드로 바꾸면 조금 완화가 되긴 하는데 아예 없어지지는 않는것 같습니다 ㅠㅠ
아 그렇군요. 전 이 차 구매후 첨 느껴보는 거였는데 이번에 새로 구입한 mini countryman jcw 에서도 매번은 아니지만 나긴 합니다 ㅡㅡ; 물론 카이엔처럼 심하진 않고요.. ;;
Had all the same issues, steering wheel, brake noise on my 2022 + had interior issues with broken dash - was fixed by warranty but has a gap that now always be there and they can not fix it. Sold cayenne and bought new rx 2023 in luxury trim. No issues, no noise, quiet car. Now Im very happy.

Sorry to hear that bro. I know this is so annoying. I contacted Porsche customer support and they replaced a brake as new one, but it just same. Only thing dealership can do is cleaning brake. I applied lemon law. I can’t sure anything on the law suit, but just trying to everything I can do. if u wanna jump on this, I can give you a contact for lawyer.

yep, I also did my alignment today, will start testing tomorrow. They said it was red, last alignment was 2 weeks ago, it's like this car alignment went to red in 2 weeks and It looks like my steering is a bit better but not like 100% straight. need to do more testing. a lot of wind today. Was your alignment green before they did it?

have same issue, looks like this one is for colder climate, in California had this issue but now when its worm its not as bad. But in Jan exactly the same. Yes they said it's totally normal. This how super cool car sound.

아니오 ㅜ 저 소리를 포함해서 브레이크에서 “꺽꺽” 대는 소리도 못 고쳤습니다. 센터를 다녀와도 똑같아요 ;; 못 고치는 것과 안 고치는 것 둘 다인 것 같아요ㅡ 딜러쉽 애들은 그냥 정상이라고만 합니다.

브레이크 밟았다가 뗄 때나는 소리인거죠..?? M스포츠 브레이크도 브레이크 밟았다가 떼고 출발하거나 오토홀드 잡혔다가 엑셀밟으면서 출발할 때 드드득 거리면서 소리가 나더라고요...
아 M스포츠도 그렇군요. 예,브레이크 잡았다 뗄 때도 나고 딱 그 잡히는 순간에도 날때가 많아요ㅡ 발을 천천히 떼면, 소 울음 같은 소리가 납니다 ㅋ 강하진 않지만 핸들로 진동도 느껴지고요ㅡ

Similar issue with BMW M sport brakes. I found it was caused by excessive brake dust on the rotors. Suggest deep cleaning with warm soapy water, letting it dry. Avoid using iron remover style cleaners as I have found that makes it worse. Noise should go away once everything is warmed up. This is just how high performance brakes are.
The guy above u mentioned M brake too. Yea, dealership tried to fix it a couple of times and replaced as new one(probably rotor and pad I think) but still there. Actually worse than original one. Wet and cold make it worse as u know, but new brake still noisy even after warmed up. When gently lift my foot from the pedal, it sounds like crying cow and feel some vibration on steering wheel. I’m kinda frustrated…

Yes it happens when release or right at the stop. Dealership tried to fix couple of times and replaced the brake as a new one(according to them), but still there. Actually worse now.

Not at all even they just replaced it with new one. Actually worse. I really don’t understand how come it sounds still just like that. Also I recorded it again to show them.
@@d.h.k. I was having same issue on w205 mercedes. Changed brake rotors and brake calipers solved problem for me.
@@სოსოსულიკაშვილი they said “changed rotor and pad” but caliper. I need to check the work sheet for what exactly they replaced. But I totally noticed that they didn’t replace the calipers. Happy to hear that u got right brake now.
I have this same noise in my Chevy Malibu 2004 and I just changed the whole brake system. Still there. Idk wtf it is.

I have a 2021 GTS that makes some of that noise. But, to be honest, our 2018 Honda Odyssey does it too (not as pronounced though). I find the noise is the worst when the brakes are cold and wet. Porsche will never fix this as they don't consider it to be a defect. I'd suggest you ignore the noise. The more you focus on it, the more it will upset you. That is what I do and after 7 months of ownership, I barely notice it anymore.
Even a GTS model has that problem too. Sorry to hear that. Yes it’s worse when it gets wet or cold. They must admit these r defective. Caz it’s not a issue of every single cayenne in the world. Well, Thanks for the advice. It is up to me as long as they don’t really fix that. That’s pretty sad tho.

Exactly! Just got goosebumps. Crooked steering wheel and always runs to the right. Had several alignment work, but still same.
@@d.h.k. so I was talking 1 on 1 with service person and he said all their cars do that and its by design, yep sure by design, I think its a car architect issue that they dont want to have recall for. I was able to find that alignment needs to be done not by spec from porsche but how you feel it. in this case you may have a fix for this. But it could cause other issues. In the end I plan just to sell it and take a loss, I can not drive like this. Will by lexus for 50% of this car price and thats it. At this point will never buy product from this brand again. It's just a scam.
I just take it as a lesson. I trade in my bmw x5 and that car didn't had any issues at all. With this car my dash was broken, steering is bad, back door doesn't close some times, strange notifications come and go. German 100% perfect design for 100k+ ye sure. :) it's just a scam.
