Yoo Thankyou!
command and T is also a good way to chop.
Does the ex thing work with the speed of the song
The hood approves
Yoooo!! Good looks my guy, every video is like 100 years long and doesn’t get to the point this fast thanks a lot
good looking homie
good vid!
I can’t find a video on how to sample from my turntable. Is it not possible on Logic?
you trying to record a sample or are you trying to like scratch and record?
you need your input set to your turntable probly on the master board
thank you bro.
how to do I stop loops from stopping and starting again
This was actually helpful 😂
Simple and straight to the point (y)
why did you have to say the hood way?
who cares
we do
Hahahaha
lol wtf
yes you do what i did in the video
Thanx for the vid...quick and to the point...What kits do you use?
I did everything as you instructed but when I click the keys on my midi or on my keyboard the samples don't play. Why is that?
Karl Bazile same . Did you ever get a fix to this problem ?
lmao hoodway
wooooahh thank u so much bruh
Thank you....short sweet and to the point
yo wheni select the chopped sample and highlight the whole region and press command E it pulls up "save as audio track" any ideas?
Catherine Bonfiglio you might havfto check the key commands I don't have my mac rn it's being repaired so I can't really help atm sorry brotha
press control e not command e
this is was to good bro thanks
short + sweet, thank you :)
Dear god I hate logic so fucking much...given it so many chances......it's just way too clunky.
this was super dope bro thank you
high class!
what was this sample?
closer than close atlantic star
you're a life saver my man, thank you
The ctrl-E shortcut doesn't work for me, how do I bring up the convert regions to new sampler tracks?
Right click > Convert > Convert to new sampler track
Why the hell did they change it from just using the slash key?????
Do you know how to make it to wear once I let go of a key on my midi, that it stops the sample. My problem is I'm trying record a loop but when I let go of the key on the midi, the sample keeps playing until the sample runs all the way through. In reason, once I let go of the key on the midi, the sample stops. Any idea?
are you using exs24? turn the sustain all the way down
Nice one, easy to understand, no messin
i got every thing up to the end of the video..but you never showed how to record the sample & actually make a beat..when i press record the original track plays and if i mute it then the sample itself is gone too??...,im lost
riflemania delete the midi
what does that mean exactly?
the green part that u get just delete it but make sure u dont delete the track
what does this mean
how do you make the full chop play by just pressing the key instead of holding it for the duration of the chop?
+Dennis Saucier in the esx there should be like a one shot option I don't got my mac rn il get back to you but it would probly be once its imported into a sampler
Search chop samples in UA-cam and check out the one by Piffery Goodz is pretty good too
maybe I'm too late but when you press control e and the box comes up there is a box that says 1 shot option make sure this box is ticked
@@Chillaxin202 when I open esx I dont get "edit" only option
Good vid, one thing though, when i hit ctrl+e that menu doesn't pop-up
+aaron mcdonald go into key commands and find out what your keys are set to I just learned that one off another video
yo this vid helped me alot good looks
+LaVar Taylor thankyou more hood tutorials to come I like to keep it simple
wouldn't it be completely off timing this way?
What about tempo? Do you have to analyse the sampled track to,get the right tempo in to logic? Like: if the track is 90bpm. Do you analyse that first and set the tempo in logic to 90bpm before import?
Kenneth Hallgrimsen yeah its the flex tool i think
+Kenneth Hallgrimsen There's a stock plugin that you put on that track with the sample called BPM counter.
+Yusef Ah'mad I just always use the flex tool and anlize it
