I highly recommend turning down the music in the intro. It's quite hard to hear you when the music is louder than you are. Also a little disappointed but also understand that clickbait is what sees growth on youtube. "Is It Over For GAMING?" is classic fearmongering.

30% cut is voluntary, you can just choose not to sell on Steam. The reason everyone sells on Steam is that it is beneficial to them to do so, despite the 30% cut. Steam advertises your game, hosts a forum for your game, gives a way for players to easily add mods to your game, and Steam has to cover the operating costs it incurs. Steam likely loses money on a lot of the smaller games which don't sell much, but they likely make all of that back and more on the successful ones. The smaller games get an amazing deal out of Steam. Not allowing devs to sell for less elsewhere does not seem unreasonable to me, the game benefits from the features of Steam, but then the devs try to encourage their customers to buy from somewhere else instead of Steam, that doesn't seem fair to me.

Steam is only a monopoly in the sense its propped up by the customer base, their service is so good, its basicly the only thing their using. A monopoly can only be illegal of they are the only real company around and they arnt propped up by the marketplace(think Google tsudo-owning Andriod). Epic existing proves Steam os naturally propped up while Epic tried artifically propping itself up
