@@JohnDoe-mp1yn honestly man I couldn’t tell you. It came with the bike so I’m not too sure. Certainly not a stock tank for this bike

I was wondering if about that tank I like it it’s not as big and bulky as mine with the tachometer and center console Iv been trying to find one like yours that will fit the square frame
@@Bishop-xi7gk fortunately for me this one came with the bike and I like they way it sits and looks. Right now I have a lot of stuff out for powder coating and the tank is getting sand blasted so I can go get the dent repaired. Now everything is just really a waiting game so I can piece it back together

Hey I'm stuck between buying the Alpine type r 12" and this Vcw. Is this Worth the extra $40?
absolutely. but the alpines are really nice as well. it's all personal preference. nvx pushes more rms.
***** yea, they both seem like great subs, i just haven't heard a lot about the Vcw's, and Type R's are extremely popular, however they both have really good reviews. And i don't really know too many differences between them other than the Vcw has a little higher RMS and slightly more excursion.
***** I've been checking out both subs a lot more, hope to get a system put together by the end of this month. I was reading some review over this VCW and a couple people said it wasn't as loud as their previous kicker, alpine or what ever they had, but i assume that this would still get plenty loud? also Ive checked out some amps, Would something like the Planet Audio AC3000.1D work? its only $100 bucks and looks like a good deal.
VCW'S Are louder than kickers and alpines IF you push it right. buying a cheap amp will do you no good. I pushed mine with that nvx amp and it was louder than all hell. get the right amp and gauge wire for your kit(I used 2 gauge) and you will be VERY satisfied.
***** Do you have any recomendations as far as what amp to use? perferably one that a high schooler such as myself could afford. The planet audio one that i mentioned earlier, said that it will do 1500W rms but people say it doesn't really do that much.

Hey how does your bass knob works? I have own two of this amps and the knob never really works doesn't fade at all feels more like an on and off switch in away.
yeah it only worked from off to about a little over a quarter way turned up. but it still worked. never figured out why. i eventually took it out

yeah those comments below tell what i found out about it it hits about 137 and when i put in the new battery i think i can bump that number a little
and that was with a stock alt and battery and i will be getting an upgraded battery kinetik khc1400 so im guessin i can hit a little higher than that
so i actually just checked out this other guy who has the same sub as me and he hit 137db.
to be honest not sure but to take a WILD guess and this is just guessin from what ive seen with other systems atleast 100 db, and thats just a guess. its 1000 watts rms so i would say it be up there somewhere. id like to buy a db meter or spl meter so i can really see what it is.
