@@dealscale YMMV, I was using a simagic shifter and it broke 3 times. Haven’t had an issue yet with the bdh 🤞

I think its a side effect of the FOV being wrong on the display, which I couldn't figure out except to make my POV while racing look crazy, but I think I'm getting a better view now, check out my latest vid, I'm experimenting with a mixed reality view and I'm digging it so far

For whatever reason my failure rate is much higher on SSS's, so I do tend to go slower, coupled with being on gravel tires and the last stage, I was in the mindset of "just get her past the finish boards". Point taken though, you're absolutely right!

It was around here I did start to get more confident, nerves are real and I have definitely noticed that lack of confidence slows me way down in the beginning of a rally, eventually I forget I'm racing other people and focus on the driving and things start to get into a rhythm. Now to fast track that every time I think is the next step

I honestly was cracking up, give me the business! I so greatly appreciate the feedback, I try to critique myself, but I feel that only goes so far, this is so invaluable, I cannot thank you enough M8! (Though I kinda wish you hadn't caught me in a brand new car for ego reasons, this is way more useful)

Haha, I had the same facepalm reaction, this was a result of looking at the split times instead of the road. Valuable lesson learned, I"m turning that off.

Awesome! It looks so good on the quest 3 in comparison to my index, didn't have any issues setting up vr either, was pretty plug and play from what I recall, hope to see ya on stage soon!

It definitely looks like it, I try not to practice or memorize the stages, so I tend to be a lot more cautious. I do need to get better at updating the pace notes though, that's a great call out, thanks M8!

I love the sg shifter, nice satisfying shifts, the handbrake is good, but I’d like a bit more travel on it, I think if I did it again I’d go with the sg shifter and sim magic handbrake, but another nice thing about this is it’s a combo and mounts together and fits right where I like it. Overall I’d give the combo an 8/10 shifter a 9 and handbrake a 7

They are indeed fantastic, very rarely I do get a call I need to adjust. I can count the amount of times on one hand that has happened. 9.8/10 for sure

Awesome, really glad to hear and hope to see you on stage! Advice is noted, I kinda like seeing the rig move about lol (since I use these vides mostly to watch back and learn from my mistakes), but if your comment gets a bunch of likes I’ll remove it :P As a concession though I will reorganize the windows (maybe make rig view much smaller). @@jillibeans I pretty mutch like this only gameplay content to watch soo yeah. However still, the idea of yours is very good you'll definitely improve your racing and might catch some fans too!

For the most part, I do have my render resolution almost capped though, so I run at 90fps just to leave a bit of headroom. I have noticed some frame drops when trying to run 120 at max resolution, but it’s not terrible, I just prefer smoother for racing.
