India
Приєднався 16 кві 2020
Hey there, thanks for visiting.
We are three English teaching Hindi learning foreigners with something that we want to give back to the Hindi speaking world we've learned so much from.
Gateway is about opening doors for people in HINDI speaking India. We want to help people SPEAK BETTER ENGLISH so they can walk through the doors of opportunity that the English language opens for them.
But every language is enmeshed in one or many cultures... and so Gateway teaches English with this in mind. We want people not simply to SPEAK nice English, but to THRIVE in the English speaking world - whether here in India or abroad.
So join us on this journey towards SPEAKING BETTER ENGLISH. Be sure to subscribe to Gateway channel and leave comments and suggestions. We love hearing from people. 💖

Mai to yaad hunga '- please translate this
Hello... thanks for your question. So in Hindi we say "Main to yaad hunga" when we have already met someone, right? In English, we could say "You already know me" [because we have met before], or "We have already met."
Fees plz tell me
Please WhatsApp me on the number in the video and we can talk about your learning needs there

Mann me yaad kro.....how to say in English?
Hi there... thanks for your question. In Hindi, we say "Mann me yaad kro" when we want someone to memorise something quietly, right? Maybe they are saying a sentence out loud over and over again, and we can't concentrate on what we are doing. In English, in this situation we might say, "Can you memorise that more quietly" or "Can you memorise that in your head."
👍👍👍
U r so slow
👍
Thanks for the video. I would like to know the rules with regard to tourist and public places like museums, parks, zoos, national parks, sanctuaries, etc
Hello, good question. For zoos, tourist and other public places we often use "the" because there is generally only one of them. For example: We went to the zoo yesterday. (A specific location usually only has one zoo). "Are you going to the foreshore for dinner tonight?" (The foreshore would be a public place, maybe a tourist precinct, that everyone knows about.) We visited India and were able to see the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort in our first week there. The same goes for museums. But for parks we generally don't use 'the'. Here in our city there is Gandhi Park. But we don't say, "I went to the Gandhi Park." Instead, "I went to Gandhi Park." There are exceptions to this, which I can think of from my hometown, but this is generally how it works with parks. But back to tourist locations... they sometimes have a local name, in which case, as with all names, we don't use "the". For example: "We went to Robber's Cave last year, let's go somewhere else instead."
बहुत अच्छा और आसानी से अपने समझा दिया
Thanks, Sunita!

How to ask "Kaise yaad karlea"in informal way
I'm not sure what you mean about in an "informal way"... You can ask, "How did you remember?" or "Have you got it?"
Wow, it's a very beautiful video Ma'am 👌👌

Excellent explanation...!!!
Thank you! Glad you liked it!!
thanks a lot for a geat session... could you plz help me in an small but imp. doubt: (1) I could go.=mai ja sakta tha (its basic & clear) but plz translate using 'could' : (2) mai nahi ja sakta tha. (3) mai ja saka tha. (on one particular day, I went.) (4) mai nahi ja saka tha. (on one particular day, I didn't go.)
"could" makes the sentence about potential. You had or have the potential ability to go. It is uncertain or a potential that is in the past.
Wow......
Glad you liked it
Good video Simon sir
