Amazing job brother!!! I know the song is played in Drop A on a 7. But i figured you already had yours tuned and setup for a half step down. Which works out considering the song is in a B flat minor i believe and the lowest note throughout the whole song is a A#/B flat minus one exception of when a minor sixth is being played in the beginning. But loving the cover 🤘🤘🤘 so sick

@Burrd Burms I was looking to play this song and tried to adjust my tuning to B from standard and found the strings to be super loose. I searched the song for a playthrough and this video came up and noticed you have the exact same guitar as me! I'm just curious - how did you tune your guitar to drop B without losing the tension in the strings? I'm not used to drop tuning and am very new to guitar so any help is appreciated! Thanks
Sounds like you just need some thicker strings, that would almost certainly fix the issue

What strings are you using? Just got my 7string and they're way too thin!
I can’t remember what I had in this video but I just switched to buying the D’addario 10-74 8 string pack, and throwing out the 64. Works pretty well for lower tunings

Hey, what software do you use for the tab track at the bottom? 🤔
The tab itself is from Guitar Pro, then I do a screen recording of that and add it into the video with Final Cut Pro
@@BurrdBurrns Thought that after I posted the question but thought someone out there would've wrote an addon OBS or something by now lol Started learning this after seeing them with my daughter on monday. Never been huge on tapping so I'm constantly tripping up lower pull off 😅😑 Any advice beyond slow and steady? lol
@@SnedzTheBricklayer slowing it down really is the best advice I can give lol. Guitar Pro and other similar softwares are great because you can slow it down to say 50%, practice that till perfect, then move up to 60% speed, etc. Other than that you can always practice the motion of tapping throughout your day just in the air without a guitar, seems silly but it helps

So technically the pitch shifter function on the pedal isn’t used here, but the whammy part is set to +2 octaves
