Put on the iceskates for the truck when it's so lovely roads 🤣🤣
@@Frank-Kristiansen hahaha ye i have tought of that 😂😂
Good informational videos. I am not a truck driver at all but found this very interesting, so I have a few question: 1. Is it easier to drive on icy roads with nearly empty truck or with some weights in the back? (more weight on the axles) 2. You said you lowered and raised the boggy, do you have weight sensors in the car so you know how much load you have on the axles, or is it just by experience and calculated guesses on how heavy your load are in the back? 3. When driving a truck like this in the town, are you paid by the amount of delivery or are you paid by the hour?
@@F0NIX nice to hear ! 1 - it is best to have some weight in thise conditions 2- yes we have a sensor that shows the numbers on the screen so you can se how much waight is on the axel and lastley about the payment i get payd per hour kind of, we have a base set salary & then we get extra payd depending on the time of the day & stuff like that :)

Good day brother. Can you share some numbers of your salary in Asko? I'm thinking about getting C/CE and YSK,but really wondering about salaries in Norway on the truck. Also I saw, that ASKO has YSK school,do you know something about it? God jul!
@@IIIUPUK we get payd qround 750k-850k norwegian a year, ye if you have ce & have experiance of winter driving in Norway i know that Asko has helped people with CE & ysk, not impossible, but you need to send in søknad thru the asko website , thanks & God Jul 🤗
@@sakosafarian That's some nice numbers, bro.I'm working currently as production worker on meat factory, and with overtimes making 500-550k.How about your working graphic? Are you working 5/2?Best for me,would be working 2 months straigt, and getting like 2 weeks off or something similar to that, but i'm not sure if it can be in Norway. Also, what do you think,is there high demand on truck drivers now in NO?
@ we have like a set schedule you work like a normal person 4days on 3 days off, 5 days on 2 days off, we have like a rolling schdule with 6 weeks, every week & every day is diferent, we work days, eavnings & nights, there are also scheduels with no night work, but we dont have any where you can get 2 weeks off, but we have 5 weeks payd vacation & we have like 1 week during christmas depending on how the days line up, yes truckers are in super high demand! we need 4-5 trucker right now in our department. imagen all of Norway 🤷🏽♂️🤙
@@sakosafarian Thank you my friend, you have been very helpful. There is not so much info about this super important job unfortunatelly. Hopefully ill get licence this summer.Wish you clean and safe roads, good luck =)
@ no problem at all, good luck 🤗
There you go trucker brother I've subscribed to your channel. Im 986 subscriber. I wish you go over 1000 so you get money for video.. I'm stuck at 403 or something.. safe travels my trucker brother
thanks, did not mean it like that but the point is so we can make the trip shorter so nobodey needs to work overtime, rules are strict here in Norway
@sakosafarian I understand he wants more work done and not to pay as much. Bosses are the same everywhere even here in Canada.
@ not at all, it is actually easier for our boss to pay overtime, it is us drivers who want to make the change. look bro canada & norway are worlds apart & you hav no idea why & what so just lets leav it at that. all bosses are for sure not the same.. i used to run my own buisnesses & there is a huge diference between people. dont be so negative its christmas bro. enjoy the holydays. 🤗
@ i work for one of the best paying companies in Norway when it comes to distribution. it is clear you have no idea what goes on here in Norway or Asko. but it is just becuse us drivers want the change & the boss is just helping to achive that. has nothing to do with money sence it is us drivers who took the initiative. life is verry different here & the money is not eaven a subject. in this case…😂
@sakosafarian that's nice. Yeah no doubt these mdrfkrs are cheap they'll do anything to save a dime. If they can not to pay they'll not pay you with good explanation. I'm from Europe originally and it's been 10y since I'm overseas and I come from balkans as well so definitely it's me who have no clue how it works in Norway but never say never I might move back and right straight to Norway 🤗😁 than I'll learn.
09:01 your boss doesn't want to optimize the trip he wants to see how long some drivers take and how quickly other drivers can do the same trip so he can give these others lectures about efficiency etc. Basically he's trying to make you do same trip in as much less time possible. Screw that boss!
@@MuamerDapoPadisah not true but thanks for the comment, the idea is just to make sure we dont have to long workdays for no reason, 🤗

Here we back after a long time bro by the way Norway Looks Superb in Snow
Can you lift the boogie on the loaded truck? What's about piggdekk and onspot chains? I think if you drive every day there with these conditions, a truck needs that. Kjøre forsiktig 👍
@@nordlys6 yes we can lift the boggi, we have studded tires, onspot & chains 😂
How fast interior of electric Scania heats to comfortable temperature?
I can try to time it from cold with no preheat and give an answer in a future video, because I have no idea but I think it is the same as the diesel trucks if I would guess :)
Am I correct that the lorries there use 4 season tyres? Here in the UK we just have standard tyres…whatever that means but they do last for a long time. So when it snows in the UK, even 1cm..everything gets stuck. Driving skill here is also very poor.
we have separate winter tires, here in northern Norway the local companies drive with studded tires, but we also have winter tires tires without studs. som people who have studdless winter tires, drive with them all year around because off space that they would need to keep 10/20 tires will + change for summer tires would cost you more then to just drive with the winter ones. so its a bit different how people do but to answer your question, yes, to even enter Norway you need winer tires that are marked & specific are made for winter 5cm debt is the minimum & a lorry must have 7 snow chains, 4 chains are for the truck & 3 chains are for the trailer and this is super strict in Norway.
@ tack för ditt svar, in the UK I have goodyear 4 seasons on my Subaru outback. We live in North Yorkshire, and we have snow..but rarely lasts for more than 12 hours. We can have hard frosts with black ice. But my 4 season tyres are really there for the rain…we have a lot of rain. I drove lorries, artics, wagon and drags, and rigids. So you would call them semis, truck and wagon, and I guess trucks. We only had round black tyres…anything that met with that description was good enough. Thank you for posting, your videos are scenic, interesting and different.
That's even with, as far south as the Midlands, freezing temperatures can be found.
Oh, if some people don't understand, it would be nice to have this kind of weather for just a few days here in the north of Germany. We haven't had a real winter with snow here for a long time. When it snows, everything is gone again after 2-3 days.
Hi, great video! If I may ask, why do you live in a caravan? Is it very expensive to rent an apartment in Norway? I’m mexican, for the last 9 years I’ve been driving a bus in Spain and I’m thinking about moving to Norway. A few days ago I received a job offer and the salary is much higher than here! Thanks!
hej ofc bro nice I have been in Mexico, Cabo. amazing place. well nah if you are a singel person you can rent a room or something for 5000-7000 Norwegian or 8000-13000 for a whole apartment. in my case its not the price it is the need.. meaning, I used to rent a apartment 10 min from my work. paid around 10000 with electricity and everything else. but live alone. here, almost no friends & no relativs here so not so meny visitors. so I don't need all that space. so I bought the caravan because at work here we have great facilities with showers washing machines & free space & electricity for the caravan. so for me it is a no brainer since everything I do on my days off is outside the villige where I live it dose not really matter if I have a caravan or apartment & 10000 Norwegian less in costs for me every month that's 1000 euros bro, a lot of money :)

@@paul.-jj6yh nah, not an american. you can read in the description of the video where i’m from :)
Wud luv 2 c handling d ice roads in canada.. probably child's play 4 u...
@ nah i dont think so,because american trucks are much harder to work with, our trucks are so advanced compared so i dont know if would like to drive american beacuse, i see the truck as a work tool, & its hard to justify why i would like a tool thats 20 - 30 years behind in evoulution, we have much better brakes, comfort visability & the same amount of horsepower. so ye but i would wont to try for fun.. not work full time 😂🤗🤷🏽♂️
@sakosafarian have seen d freightliner...do u think it's inferior to a MAN OR even a DAF..... the living space in our trucks r more...
@ ye the living space is bigger, but i rather have a good truck then a good living space, & having drum brakes in 2024 is not good, our scanias & volvos stop with the same range as a regular car when they are empty on dry roads, fully loaded truck & trailer vs a car with one passanger will stop 4-6 meters difference. wich is crazy good
Doesnt the dog feel cold? Do you have snow chains for the truck or they are not needed?

Seems so great to live a simple life like that. Drive a truck, live in a camper, and a van. Perfect. Would have done that if I did not have kids and wife… Your employer are great, that allow you to live in your camper in their parking lot and with power and all. Perfect.
