Good foot work. In order for that to work in a gig, especially playing outside, light skinny drum sticks with plastic tips won't cut thru the cranked up guitars and voice. Gotta lay into it or have a really good sound man that likes you.
Thats what mics are for.
Why is this so satisfying
Bro cannot be stopped 🗣🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💯
BRO! How can u even play that fast? How do you fingers move like that??! That is sick and i would like to know how many years you have played🔥🔥
Thanks man. Ive been playing for 20 years now.
@@Johndcdrums That is so cool bro! Ive been playing for 1 year now🤕 I wish i can play as fast as you can in the future.
What’s your beater angle at?
45 degrees
Perfect control man
Thanks bro
Are you using the chain link? looks like a strap one but I just wanna be sure. I tried the strap ones on my speed cobras and I did not like it! back to chains! I also have been wanting to get that same ACD shaft. Did you notice a decent difference from the original Tama one? Thank you and thanks for uploading these!
Yes theyre chain. Thats good to know, I was considering a change to straps haha. Yeah big difference with the Acd shaft, left pedal is far more responsive and no lag. Cheers!
@@Johndcdrums awesome thank you so much for replying 🤘🏼
I started playing my guitar along to this. It’s pretty fun playing brutal death metal riffs over your drumming.
let my guy cook
Hey, I’ve been working for 7-8 months on this technique on my iron cobra 200s and I can’t get to 230 bpm cleanly. Do you think new pedals are needed? I’m using the same kick head as that too.
I haven't tried with 200s but I think this technique is easier with longboards. Also I noticed this kick pad stops picking up notes at about 230 even with sensitivity maxed
Alright, thank you very much bro I really appreciate it
you can tell how good he us by his forearms and calves
Please give me lessons
Would you be interested in lessons? And what specifically?
Hello John, what brand is the connecting rod between the pedals, I have speed cobras and need to upgrade the rod. Thank you
It is by ACD Unlimited
Hello, what kind of connecting rod between the pedals are you using?
god dam is that a bass drum or a machine gun!!!❤❤❤❤❤
That china is me after drinking some nice ice cold water when it's hot out. Good stuff man
clean af
Alright I’m subbing!!!
I swear to God if there’s part 4
Flawless brother 👍
For some reason I can,t get a double stroke at slower tempos. Ive been watching a lot of tutorials and most of them recommend starting at a slow tempo, whenever I start speeding up it looks like it goes naturally without concentrating too much. I use medium spring tension and the beater heigth slightly decreased at a 45 degrees angle. I position my foot like explained in this video, and still didn,t adjust my footboard height. Do you think I am on the right way or all wrong? Do I need to start over to achieve double strokes on slower tempos first?
Yeah its hard to do at slow tempos. I think the minimum for me is 210 bpm to get the motion going.
@@Johndcdrums I guess that is about where I am right now. I just train to combine short burst about max 30 secs and then take a little break of a few minuts whenever it starts burning
Thanks for the reply btw. I appreciate your down to earth videos/lessons and drumming skills. It helped me a lot already!
@@banalebaviaan3218 good idea. That'll help you break into higher bpms and improve your endurance
Yo what do you to practice these ?
This shit sounds so familiar I know it's going to hit me as soon as I press enter.
You are the reason I finally started to learn drums
Thats awesome to hear man
do you use any hand technique for the fast snare and tom rolls?
Not really. Just try and keep it in the wrists
Those kicks are mint dude, are you currently in any bands?
Cheers man. I play in a death metal band called Strangle Wire
Hey man, when i first saw one of these videos this inspired me alot to start and practice this new genre of drumming, this gave me tons of ideas, i just love the energy of your drumming and keep it up man!
Thank you man!
Those kicks are so clean! What helped you getting such powerful heel-toe? I only recently learned it, but any tips like hardware settings or practice tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks man. I uploaded a tutorial video recently if you want to check that out. I tried to cover all tips and practice routines in it. Any other questions just leave a comment!
Are you playing a specific song or just improvising?
Just improvising
@@Johndcdrums awesome man!

Dude is king ❤️🔥
🤘🤘
The best 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Super super ❤❤❤❤❤
How did you work on getting your blast beats/hand speeds much faster?
James Payne's stone killer workout was great. Also I focus on keeping all movement in the fingers and not letting tension creep up into your arm. Practicing 16 note runs on each hand at a high bpm helped me breakthrough into higher bpms
@@Johndcdrums thank you great video
F@@kin’ excellent!!!
👌💯
🤘🏻
Incredible man, what foot technique are you using to get those super clean and fast hits?
Cheers. I'm using heel toe. I uploaded a tutorial video on it recently.
very very good. keep doing vids
Will do!
Thanks for continuing to post these! As a newer drummer, I’ve been using your videos to help give me ideas of things to work on.
Thanks man thats great to hear!
About how long does it take to get to these speeds? I don't play drumset much anymore but when I did my single pedal doubles were decent, just wondering what is realistic. I'm thinking it's like, 4 years or more of grinding. That's about how long it took to get my hand doubles to high speed, but I don't know if it's different with feet since the pedal sorta kinda does a lot of the work for you for you if you do it right
I've been playing doubles for about 4 years. But I'd say it took me 6 months to get to these speeds.
Fuck yeah bro, blast beat is heavy 🤘🏻
I wondering, if Aleister Crowley, gives you that hability on drumming? Cheers mate, you are great drummer.
Haha. Cheers man
I swear to god he is using the triple duallist bass drum pedals
Those things are ridiculous 😂
Dude this is sickkkkkk!!!! Love it
Thanks bro!
that double bass sounds like a fucking earthquake. primo shit
Just watched all 5 parts for the first time, back to back. This is amazing, keep it up!
Thanks! I will make a part 6 soon. I'm trying to think of new ideas haha
@@Johndcdrums good luck!
