Mine was trained so she wouldn't tear up anything at home. She's done an awesome job being left alone unless a woman leaves her shoes there. All three women alhad their shoes destroyed hahaha Maybe she just hates women 😂 Such a brilliant and beautiful girl tho.

I want one so bad. I’m an extreme outdoor person, but yet I have no reason to go outside because I don’t want to go out on my own unless if I’m going to the gym. I’ve been doing lots and lots of research on this breed for 2 years and still am. I am capable of doing it but the only thing that’s holding me back is the working schedule. I’m a plumber and I work from 8 am - 5 pm and sometime I do overtime to get extra money. Im just trying to figure out how I can balance it all out. I’ve talked to people about it they give me different answers which kind of helps me out but sometime get a little lost since they tell me they leave it home for 8+ hours does the work but I don’t buy it. So now I’m figuring if I should just get one if I figure out the plan and all or to wait until I start a family and to get back from work and then my time with it. If anybody here is a union worker and has a Belgian Malinois or a Dutch shepherd let me know what you did and help me out here. I’m all ears

people need to understand they need lot of exercise. If you tire them out they won't be destructive. Your dog have barely any obedient. They don't even know how to sit and lay down. You keep repeating sit sit sit. You correct about your dogs are great, but you're not up the the task as an owner.

My parents had a malinois male when I was just a little baby, so I don’t remember it. My older sisters though, they remember well. Mom and dad absolutely did not deserve that dog…left it in a cage, chained up on a regular basis.I know, that is absolutely awful for the dogs life, let alone mals. I like the breed and I lived with one for a short period of time. They are very fun, awesome dogs and would very much like to make him my companion. But I never had a dog before, I did learn a lot through experienced trainers on yt about luring, obedience, socialization, stimulation… I’m personally an active individual,would be ready to work them, but I also work 9-5, 4-5 days a week. Should I get one or not? Thanks

I had a Border Collie, and a BC X GSD cross…….While home alone one day, they ate my brothers golf cart! Trying to get a bunny! When my brother showed it to me, I just asked him how much he wanted for it! LOL! Working dogs are great dogs, but they are busy at all times, for good or for bad!

The best honest assessment of a Belgium malinois.. so sad to see them abandoned and surrendered. They are definitely over bred by back yard breeding.

Every puppy chews, anything up to 4 yrs (differing periods), hence why I buy 2nd hand furniture, it's either the pets or kids 🙂

Extremely high drive Dogs. They go to 11. You are correct. They are a wonderful working line.. Not a pet.. To have 1 you have to be up to the task. 💕 The engine in them is like a W16 super charged7 litre that has 3 turbo s on it put in something that has less weight than a shoe box, Protection Dog. Malinois. They cut the mustard well above the rest!!.
