If you are a non exclusive contributor, you are free to submit your content to wherever you like. Content submitted to creative briefs does not automatically have to be done on an exclusive basis, and we have a few briefs available to non exclusives. Yes, absolutely! If you just had a photo of something very simple, like a red ball on a white background, you might not even need 10 keywords. The most important thing is to add all the most relevant keywords and avoid adding any spam keywords.

Hello Kelvin, I uploaded my stock images with Deepmeta software for a long time. As a result of the warning of my friends, deepmeta is quite irrelevant to the stock panel, especially in terms of keyword matching. All my images cannot show their sales potential for this reason. DeepMeta should match with our CV keyword system. If you need to make any changes to accepted files or their metadata, please open a support ticket.

Yes, you may apply again if you are rejected. But it's best to submit your best work in your application and show a variety of your work.
Viewers, landscapes are fine, I was accepted specifically based on my creative trees/leaves/nature photos. They were my 6 literal best lol. It got me in last night and just finished creating my profile. Believe me, you will be denied with "standard/sooc/low quality stuff and shots of people in general. They don't want just anything and I got accepted in LESS THAN 3 HOURS.
In recent forums, many people have complained because they are always rejected when registering to be a contributor of more than 5x each person. Is istock currently not accepting new contributors or are they being rejected because the quality does not meet the requirements?

You should be able to add any relevant keywords and not be constrained by the extremely limited selection in your library software. This is one area that Shutterstock has got right and Getty havent.

clarifying keywords takes a lot of time, why most of the words are circled in red, is it really impossible to do without this, like other drains?
Money was recently reclaimed due to the fact that Getty Images had wrongly charged a major client for purchased photo work. Afterwards this turned out to be incorrect. The contributor was the victim and this had to be reimbursed from sales. Upon investigation, he received a summary answer to further questions. questions were not answered clearly with other words Getty sucks!
Getty Images would do well to respond more quickly when a question is asked by a contributor. This company puts 80 percent of a sold photo into their own pocket. If you want to earn more, more photos have to be sold, but that bar is very high. All in all, the only one who will be wise is Getty Images!
Why new model release cannot be upload to Model release app? Its really so much easier this way than print and sign. Plus saves paper

I have been saying for years this disambiguation system is very flawed. The IStock search feature is the worst of all the stock sites. Who has time to open a ticket for every word the system hasn't defined yet? PLEASE use free form text entries like the other sites!

Useful info but all quite obvious really if you've been uploading for some time. Not doing all of this is lazy. Use DeepMeta for keywording and uploading your images. It's much more efficient, mainly done offline and supported by Getty. And keyword them to death - the maximum of 50 should be normal.

Is it reallly necessary to include color keywords, or can Getty's search engine automatically detect them during a search?
Imagine that you take a photo of an orange bucket. When it comes to uploading the image, you may decide not to add the keyword orange. When a buyer comes along looking for images of orange buckets the vast majority are going to type in Orange Bucket into the keyword search bar. The system will show them the images that have the most relevant and matching keywords i.e. those that have the keywords bucket AND orange. Now, there are tools on the customer-facing websites that allow customers to use a color picker to narrow down the results, but the best way to ensure that your images are shown to the greatest number of potential buyers is to add all relevant keywords, including for prominent colors.

Yes it's necessary to tag your images especially if you are proclaiming yourself a professional photographer. Stores don't just get items in and put "5pack Bell Peppers" and call it a day. They need quantity, the type, color(s), brand, weight.... all of the inventory fields to search. This goes for photography content too, why dump to a server with no way to be found? Not everything can be easy breezy with auto detection. You should tag your images anyways.

A catch all release is simply a normal model release. When you fill it in with your creator / model details, you can state that it covers ANY date and any Self Portrait. And to make things super easy for inspectors to spot, you can also choose to add the Catch All Self Portrait title to the top of the release yourself.

This is interesting, thank you. Now please tell me how I can find a brief using this code (I tried entering this into the search on the community page, on the briefs page and in the browser address bar instead of the ID of another brief. None of this worked and I have no more guesses)
This brief code is associated with the topic of shooting released people in landscapes. If you have any suitable content, please manually add that brief code to the files or your batch, using your upload tool of choice. There isn't a brief in the briefing tool, but manually adding in the brief code should still allow any files submitted to count in terms of us tracking and promoting the content, as well as collecting Rewards points, like any other creative brief. The brief code can be used by non exclusives, though only exclusives collect Rewards / points for submitting to briefs / using brief codes.

Of course, photographs and videos of people look more interesting. However, the need to obtain permission to film from these people is a big problem for such filming. I can walk up to a person and ask, “Can I take a photo of you?” And this person can say, “Sure, go ahead!” But when I take out a special form and say “I need all your personal data for this.”, then this person will simply send me to hell. This is where it all ends. That's why I don't take pictures of people. There won't be any interesting stories.
